Rental was several miles farther than where I reserved a truck. Took 25 minutes to check out and obtain my truck rental. Agent requested a second phone number which I supplied, then asked for an additional phone number. Not sure why U-Haul needed 3 phone numbers. I had requested 2 dozen moving pads. Agent called the night before my pick up and said they only had 8 pads. Rental agreement listed 6 pads - need to be in increments of 6 - agent spent way too much time trying to add 2 pads to the order. We gave up and I gave the agent $2 for two extra pads. Truck was not broom cleaned.
John GThe lady running the desk did not have my reservation due to Irwin deciding to completely change my reservation without approval or consent. The reservation is under my name and I explained what happened while I attempted to call U-haul support for assistance. She decided to call my boyfriend over and ask him “what I did wrong” on the reservation for it to not show up. She repeatedly would only want to speak to him when it was my reservation. Upon having it sorted out by U-haul support, we took the keys to go collect the vehicle information for the self return. As we were finishing it up she came out the back door, pushed her way past me and asked my boyfriend to take a photo of the odometer reading from my phone that he was using. He told her he needed to finish taking photos of the truck and moved away from her. I gave her the truck keys and told her she could take the photo from the dash. She kept trying to hand the keys back to my boyfriend and ask to take a picture of the picture he took of the odometer, instead of just taking it herself. After I told her no, you can’t take a photo of the phone and if you need an odometer reading then you have the keys and can take it yourself as we are completing the return. She got upset and walked back inside, NEVER TOOK A PHOTO OF THE ODOMETER THAT SHE JUST HAD TO HAVE FROM HIM. She repeatedly would direct her conversation to him instead of the reservation holder. Exceptionally unprofessional.
