My rental was slotted for 9am and the location said they opened at 9am. Employee didn’t show up for work and open location until 915am. Myself and another customer were both waiting and shocked when the employee showed up Late and found their business was left unlocked for who knows how long. Then I had to do the hookup of the trailer, walk around and photo without any employee assistance. I’m fine with hooking up the trailer because I tow things all the time but if it is someone’s first time or someone not experienced I feel bad for them. Overall not impressed and very dissatisfied as I was on a time crunch. I expect better from U-Haul!

tire service light was on. and the person at the location told me he had checked the tires and the system must've need a reset, so I left. It was a lie, the light kept on so I checked the tires and 3 of them were with 5-20 psi less than indicated as correct in the door sticker. Also the gas tank was so empty that I barely got to a gas station with an alarm soun on because the tank was on reserve

Beautiful soul, nice, kind hearted, lovely lady, she know how to take care of the customers needs, she's a people person, and she communicated well, over all I'll deal with her every time, thank you so much for understanding

We had reservations for a 'car hauler trailer'. Got there ON TIME, there were 2 on their lot. One had a flat tire, the other was dirty and needed to be checked out. The lady at the service desk said her internet was down, take a seat. We waited 2 HOURS! A maniger/owner showed up, about the same time someone returned a box truck and car trailer from CA! Another waiting customer took the truck, the owner couldn't figure out how to disconnect the trailer. I did it myself. I attached it to our motor home, drove the car onto the trailer, installed the hold downs and F & R safety chains. The owner came out to take a picture, no HI / BYE nothing. We arrived in Naples a day late, mostly because our scheduled 'Pick Up Time' turned into a 3 HOUR TIRING/DIRTY/SWEATY ordeal. Neples jumped right on it, unloaded everything, smiling all the way. THANKS NAPLES, no-thanks to Valdosta, GA.

I was happy with the truck and the lady who helped us. However, I was not happy with my U-Haul experience. I live in Lakeland, GA and reserved a truck in Lakeland, GA for a one-way trip to Tallahassee, FL to move my daughter into school. Our reservation was transferred to another city - Valdosta, GA - which is 25 minutes away. OK..... When my husband arrives to pick up our truck in Valdosta, there is no truck. We were told they only had trucks for local moves and none for a one-way move. OK..... The lady that was working (sorry, I do not remember her name) was great. She managed to let us use one of those trucks but we had to bring it back to her location. This meant a greater gas expense for us, but OK.... We move our daughter and are about to return the truck to the original location as we were instructed. I get a call from another U-Haul place wanting to know when I was bringing the truck to them. I explained that we were taking it to where we were told. She was adamant that I bring the truck to her, which I did not. The original lady had been very nice to us and had explained that the truck needed to be returned to the original location so we did that. Overall, our experience was not good. I was very disappointed in U-Haul. That said, the lady at the location we used was great and did her best to help us.

The location was originally picked for pick up was changed. I went to the next location which was a sketchy vape shop, I did not feel safe. I was told they did not have my trailer it was stolen. The worker was friendly and contacted UPS . I was sent to a new location. The new location was definitely better but I scheduled the original location because it was close to my sons apartment, he’s military and relocating out of the county. I drove 8 hours and was exhausted only to have to deal with the stress of the situation. I definitely think you need to screen your vendors better and make sure the equipment is at the agreed upon location.

If you could have the equipment present on the day before to ensure that the customer does not have to scramble to find it elsewhere. I only that problem once in the many times I’ve rented, however it was a big problem on that day.

Truck was not clean when we rented it and then I got charged a $25 cleaning fee for someone else’s mess. U-Haul did make it right but I do not recommend this location.
