Originally, I was to pick up using the app andy phone, because he wouldn't be there. I was having some trouble with the app. He was there and helped me get going. He was very helpful.

PAUL RIt was an after-hours drop off so there were no staff around. It was difficult to find the drop off area in the dark. Might have been a better experience if it was a drop off during business hours.

Brenda WJust have more of the equipment like dollys to help with loading/unloading the truck. Original location for pickup was Business Loop but they were sold out and didn’t tell me until the day before.
April JVery unprofessional. Talks about politics and how “black children are the problems in schools.” Also has guns in the place you go to fill out paperwork. Smacked both me and my fiancé’s shoulder. It made both of us extremely uncomfortable. Wasn’t notified we needed an adapter for our car so we had to go get one. We scheduled the pickup time for 11 because originally we were supposed to pickup in the Columbia location but they had none, so we had to drive 45 minutes to get the U-Haul, and I got a phone call stating that if I wasn’t there before 11 I’d have to wait til 1 to get the U-Haul because they’re closed from 11-1. I’m not very happy at all.

Sherry HSince the person that took the reservation did not get it correct it was nice to have someone at the pickup location that was very helpful.
Royce PWe didn’t make it to the drop off location because the truck quit shifting. We had to unload the truck contents from the road and carrying across the parking lot into the townhouse. This was very inconvenient in that we couldn’t back up the truck by the front door to use the ramp to unload household contents. The service guy that was sent by U-Haul said the belt was applied wrong, causing it to melt which didn’t allow the truck to shift. He said it was at no-fault of us, and that we would not have been responsible even if we didn’t take out the extra insurance. The U-Haul truck had to be towed to the drop off location. Because of this inconvenience and extra work created on us, it would be excellent customer service if U-Haul would waive the extra mileage charge that we were not expecting.

Michael NWhen a customer has made a reservation for a piece of equipment, such as a trailer, six months in advance if the trailer is not at the location where the customer reserved it – the vendor should provide some level of discount or accommodation to the customer. It is absolutely ridiculous that U-Haul Consistently enables customers to reserve items that consistently are not available at the location where they are reserved. I am an extremely dissatisfied. Customer.

The owner went out of his way to be helpful and informative. Very impressed with the level of professionalism and service.
