I rented a dolly and I never got it. Even when I went into the store. They Tried to cancel my whole reservation. The uhaul was beaten up. Bald tires even. Got stuck in my backyard because of the tires and had to call Dicks towing to get us out because Uhaul still wanted to charge me $350 even though I had the insurance on it. Hated my whole experience today. I've been using uhaul forever even my parents have their whole life. This 1 experience ruined itWilliam W.

Couldn't provide me with an immediate receipt. Would not accept hand written (from real pick-up) notes on my receipt. Charged me for additional gas and mileage. Unfriendly staff. (I never complain but was VERY disappointed in my U-Haul experience)John M.
Yes, the van I rented was clean but, it was immediately obvious that this van had been smoked in. The smell of cigarettes stayed in this rental even with the AC running and the windows down. I would recommend that the upholstery in the driver and passenger seats be cleaned.Amy M.

Website was down during the return process and it was after hours; therefore, I was left guessing on the proper way to return with photos, etc. I tried calling U-Haul and was on hold for a long time before hanging up. I would suggest allowing a phone option for U-Haul to call the customer back when an agent is available, and giving notification that the website is down.Jeff B.
I rented a 6x12 trailer. The tongue weight is awful heavy for one person. These trailers need tongue Jack's. It would be impossible to disconnect a full trailer if you wanted to unload it and use the vehicle.Terry B.

The location and truck were clean. I checked NO to get your attention! WHY are the trucks not full when they are checked out? My truck had 5/8of a tank. When I was returning I was filling and it was stuck under 1/2 a tank(turning key off and on th see fuel level. All of a sudden the gage indicates almost full. I added $60 dollars, 18 gallons for a little less than 100 miles of driving! I should have been in the neighborhood of $33.00 at 10 miles a gallon. I'm extremely disappointed with uhaul ! I would love to attach my photo of mileage used and full tank of gas.KIRK ALAN K.

My reservation was for after-hours pickup. There was no key in the lockbox so I wasn't able to pick up the truck until the next day, causing me to drive an extra 30 miles two ways to pick up the truck. Agent at the counter said - sorry, my manager was supposed to put this in the lock box.Arnie S.

ON THE OTHER HAND THE WEBSITE EXPERIENCE WAS TERRIBLE. 1. 45 MINUTES of IT /computer issues at the store. 2. The computer tried to cut 2 hours off of my reservation just because the store was closing or charge more. 3. Store defended the customer. Machines defend corporate. I did the self check in on line and had to go through it all again once I got there.Brian K.
I reserved the moving truck on line, a week in advance. I reserved a 10 ft truck and scheduled a 8:30 am pick up. I received a call from them the day before I was to pick up the truck. They did not have a 10 ft. Someone was bringing in a 15 ft at 11:00 am. Not only was I not getting the size truck I reserved, I had to wait 2 1/2 hours to pick it up. Need to get a lot more organized and give someone more than a days notice.Randall G.
