This was NOT supposed to be the pick up location....BUT I had NO choice but to go here,because the Uhaul truck was not delivered to the original pick up site on the date ir was reserved for.This issue needs to be fixed.This caused me to waiste and hr to go, then another to come back, then to have to load tge truck, which made me late on returning the truck , AFTER HOURS. THIS NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

Michael ZThe rental was an emergency rental and the agent was amiable and warm. however, the truck was not road-worthy. 1st.) The radio didn't work. I had to use my personal portable speaker box to listen to my cellphone news and radio station as I drove 8 hrs to ATL GA. I called to complain to Customer service/roadside assistance and they told me to go to the nearest U-Haul repair shop in Lakeland FL, but the shop was closed. 2nd) While driving the truck the truck stalled while I was driving. Once the truck started going over 65MPH the truck stalled for a few moments and then gets a burst of energy and jumped from 60mph back to 65 and then went to 70 mph. This went on for the whole 8hrs I drove the truck with the check engine light on. I complained the following day again and two U-haul service repair guys came out to look over the truck. After they looked over the truck they stated that they would let the U-haul rep know that my truck needed to be replaced. I then called the roadside assistance person and informed her what was said but, U-haul roadside assistance stated that she would need to follow up with repair people and call me back. I never got a callback and for 4 days I was stuck with a $634 U-haul truck rental that didn't work nor did U-haul try to accommodate me with a new rental but, they made sure that hit my bank account for their money for that piece of crap truck...

JASON NI had made my original reservation on Sunday April 21. The reservation was for me to pick up a 4' by 8' trailer at the Myakka Tire location in Myakka City Floriday on Saturday April 27th at 9:30 AM. The whole business was closed, even though it said it was open till 2:30. The guy wasn't there, and didn't answer my call when I got there. A friend of his happened to be there and called the owner for me. The owner then proceeded to tell his friend that he rented out all the 4' by 8' and 5' by 8' trailers. What is the reservation for if you can't get the trailer you reserved??? Fortunately, we were able to call the place in Arcadia, where the manager in charge, Yvette Singletary, was the complete opposite from the guy in Myakka. She went above and beyond. She had no trailers in the size we reserved, but upgraded us to a 6' by 12' size for no extra cost and gave us 2 extra days to use it, if needed. Thankfully there are people in the business world like Yvette instead of the guy from Myakka.
