Economy self storage was very convenient. Close to my destination. I pulled in. Found a safe spot to drop the trailer. Checked in my return and was back home in no time. Thanks Bart.

The tuck wasn't ready when I picked it up. It still had the trailer on the back of it and there was dirt on the passenger side floor. I also couldn't get into the area to pick it up unless I had a code to get into the gate. I was not given a code to get in. After sitting at the gate, luckily another person drove in and opened the gate for me. Additionally, I was supposed to do a self pick up using the app. After walking around the property looking into all of the trucks for keys a person finally came out and told me that I couldn't do a self check out. If this is the case then why is the option offered.

I understand this location is a rental storage unit. Rental trucks seem to be a side business, that's cool. It appears the storage customers take priority--one was helped in front of me, though I was there first. I am cool with this, but there should be a sign up telling us this, or just verbally saying,,,listen, we need to service these quick hitters first.... Rather than me having to figure it out. Just more communication.

The facility was closed. The gate was locked with no staff present. My husband had to call to ask what to do seeing as how the dropbox was inside the locked fence that was topped with barbed wire.

Check-in was quick and easy. Frustrating on-line experience though - reserved a truck for the given dates and was immediately called and told there were no trucks available at that location and that I would have to rent at a facility 20 miles way (at $.99/mile!) However, I went directly to the place several days later, I found there were trucks available.

I had to drive 24 miles each way to find a 6x12 trailer. I guess that 6x12's are hard to find, or you need more of them.

The Lady at the desk was nice but had no idea what was going on. I had to disconnect the trailer myself and put it where she wanted. Was not sure if I owed them money or if I was to get a refund. God help me if I was going there to rent the trailer.

My issue isn't with this location but with the location in Queensbury,NY. That was where we originally reserved a trailer. We received confirmation for our reservation for 8/24 but when we arrived our trailer had been rented out. As we were bringing our son to college in the morning it was extremely inconvenient. The employee was very sorry and apologetic. We were compensated and he did go out of his way to locate another trailer for us. However,The location was 30 minutes from our house and didn't open until 9 the following morning. Again- the people at the Hadley location were helpful but overall the entire experience was extremely frustrating as it delayed our start by 2 hours. My advice is to not rely on confirmation email. Call the day before scheduled pick up to confirm.

Letting the customer know that you cannot guarantee the pickup location you request and finding out 2 days before you move it's a remote location (with no cel service) that took me one hour to locate and get to and a half hour to get to the location that l had the workers waiting for me to load the truck A very frustrating day ! ! !

The queensbury location was awesome, the drop off location in Corinth openly admitted to me they falsified business documents in over billing me for an additional day. I would like to press charges. Please contact me ASAP.

No clear signs that it is a UHAUL location. Requested trailer is dilapidated but usable. Input from store receptionist was that the trailer was inspected/stickered by UHAUL for the known defects.

Location needs more efficient snow plowing and a designated parking area for rentals/returns. Did not have any issues regarding the trailer aspect of my rentals.

There is absolutely no way that I should have been charged a cleaning fee. I walked in truck to make sure nothing was damaged or dirty. I have rented from U-Haul for many years, and I have never been charged a cleaning fee. No one ever contacted me prior to charging fees. Very poor customer service and in my opinion very un-acceptable. I spent extra time at drop off location to un-hook trailer so I did not block any driveways, or garages of other customers with 26' truck and trailer. Lack of parking left me with limited options as to where I could park without risking truck getting stuck in snow when employees went to move it or re-rent. I was trying to be considerate to location staff wand in turn am shown none myself with even a simple phone call. Very disappointed

The woman who helped me was very nice and did a great job getting me checked out, but was not trained in how to install the trailer on the vehicle. My wife and I had to figure it out ourselves from the instruction manual. The location was very remote, and far from the requested pickup location, requiring a 12+ mile drive through a winding, steep grade mountain road in winter weather conditions. It was far from ideal, and when we drove by the desired pickup location in Queensbury, NY (which was approx 2 miles from our destination), they had multiple trailers of the same type out front.

This U-Haul experience in all the years I have used this service was the worst ever.What is even more amazing is that this is known all over with what I always believed was a good reputation.Will not be my choice in the future. Whoever heard of having a reservation made and confirmed and then have every single thing changed? Right from the time and location to pick up and return. I had to take off time from my work to do this move because they changed everything. Then to beat the band I am the one who had to trapse around for a dolly.Whoever heard of going into a business well known and have to wait 45 min for the computer screen to warm up before you could do the paper work? Not acceptable to me sorry.

I only came to this location because my original reservation fell through due to a lack of professionalism. I was going to the location on 1320 Saratoga Rd, Gansevoort NY. I made a reservation with them for 8:00 AM 03May2014 and they didn't even show up!

Signage is poor, missed it on our first pass. Open electronic gate, mud puddles/ruts, icy/snowy driving surfaces, no personnel on site, no designated spot for u-haul dropoffs, vehicles parked in front of storage units. To Improve: Take better care of roadways, improve signage on the road and signage at the gate explaining hours/gate codes etc. a dedicated spot for u-haul vehicle storage. Thank you.

better customer service.get there 9am no one there, call later tells me running late this morning, understand.ok, he leaving at 4. had to go to work and then leave early to make it back to drop off before he closes, no drop box, need a code to get in if no ones there. waist of time and gas, back and forth, have a great day!

I had requested a pickup in Glens Falls because of past experience with that location and its management and staff, and also the hours of that location. I did not like getting a call a day before I was to pick it up, to tell me that I had no choice but to pick up the truck 15 miles away. I also was told that I could not pick it up around 6:00PM because that location closed at 4:00PM. I the had to change my pickup until 9:00AM the next day, which increased the cost of rental for that truck. I also was not provided a complete copy of my rental contract and had to download it after returning the truck. You can improve but considering your customer's needs more, rather than the convenience of your staff.

I found that the location at Economy Self Service in Hadley was terrific, the attendant was very helpful and showed me everything that I needed to know about the trailor. He hooked it up and made sure the connections to my truck were perfect.

Get more fuel efficient vehicles. I drove the smallest truck (10') only 110 miles and put over $20 worth of gas back in it go get it to the point where I picked it up. That's alot of gas for only 110 miles and the truck was only partially loaded in one direction!
