Worst experience ever, owner should be dropped as distributor. I arrived 830 am agreed time gate was locked on business parking. I did u haul online check in photos, it did not give code for lock box. 30 minutes later was called by owner who said he was running late and did not setup lock box. Owner arrived did not see the auto check in online eventually gave me key. I took before and after photos of truck and gas gauge/odometer. 10 minutes after I left owner called my cell and said I can turn off tow button on dash which makes old truck run rough. I drove a total of 10 miles and put in gas 3 blocks away from u haul. There was no owner onsite and I put keys in Dropbox next day I got bill from u haul 3 gallons gas charge 24$ extra fee. I only drove truck 10 miles entire rental per odometer. I put 1.2 gallons gas before returning. Wtf why charge 3 gallons scam. That would mean truck only get 2 miles per gallon. I called owner and sent before after photos of odometer and gas gauge and has receipts. Owner was rude and abrasive and gave me bs excuses that refund comes out of his pocket and it was u haul that over bill me. Was on phone 22 minutes as he was incompetent and unable to apply refund or even see my existing email or bill. He claimed refund was sent and confirming email, yet no email was sent. Owner also texted me to never come back to his business. I will write bad review on multiple sites and file complaint with BBB. No refund was applied sent ASAP. I will report fraud charges on credit card. What a horrible company, no wonder 2 of 5 stars Also parking lot had broken glass which damaged my personal car....stay away!!!!!
