The truck was dirty inside and out. The check engine light was on. The mobile check-in failed and the check-out (condition of truck) failed 2x. It took 30 minutes just to check out the truck. Also the truck only had minimal gas in the tank. Not a good experience.

However, the initial transaction was very nice and professional.

Mohammad NMy experience with uhaul was about trash this time around. First, I was told the uhaul pick up was in woodland when I had requested Sacramento and was charged an excess mileage fee when woodland added significantly more distance onto my trip. I literally went no where else but straight to my apartment in Sacramento, then a gas station, where I was moving in San Francisco and then the drop off location. Second, the guy at the gas station/ pick up location had no idea what he was doing. I was there for half an hour until he finally called uhaul customer service because he couldn’t figure out how to use his phone and rent the vehicle out to me. He was trying to take photos of my drivers license for check out but he didn’t understand how to upload them so now there’s a random man with photos of my drivers license and personal information on his phone. Finally, I called customer service twice. Once about the pick up location being inconveniently changed to woodland and another during the shit show pick up at the gas station and your customer service representatives are absolutely terrible. They’re incredibly rude and in the middle of trying to work out both situations they really tried to sell me a storage unit. Read the fucking room. I have moved several times in my life and have only used uhaul but I will never use your service again after this.

Tony OOver charged after I paid in full. Changed pick and drop off location w/o notice! I had to drive an extra 18miles the opposite direction of my location just to pick up and drop off. Took 2 hours just to get my truck and another 1hr just to drop off. Not happy at all.
