That told me if the mileage went over I would b chagerex a .79cent per mile.i know I did not go over the mileage to add up to 100$ worth.but that keep my 100$anyway and said because I went over the mileage.and that said that sending me a new bill.FOR WHAT?????? I filled it back to where it was surpost to be,there was No damages, and if I did go over the mileage it would of been $10 to 20$ at the most and that's pushing it.so why thay keep my hole 100 deposit. And trying to bill me more.but no one can tell me nothing at all other then I went over the mileage I was surpost to not go over .this is crazy and a ripe off.Joyce T.

No one was there when I arrived for scheduled pickup, waited an additional 20 minutes for someone to open up. Told me truck was full of fuel and to return it full of fuel. After departure, I looked and truck was on 3/4 of a tank. Lesson learned on trusting a shady business. I returned it with 3/4 of a tank and was charged 40 dollars for fuel. Very unorganized and a joke. Highly recommend using another dealer.Richard M.

I would not recommend uhaul to anyone I drive 3 and half hours was told the uhaul wasn't there had to go another 35 mins and guess what no uhaul drive until we found one get there pull off with the truck no gasalmost didn't make it to the store horrible and unprofessional I will never use uhaul againRICHARD C.

From start to finish this has been the worst experience I've ever had with uhaul. I reserved a van. I got a phone call later saying there are no vans but we will give you a 10' and not charge you for the mileage, free upgrade. Ok, not what I wanted but fine. I got to the location no truck there. They sent me to another location. No there to help me so the get someone on the phone. Then they try to charge me for estimated mileage. So I say let's forget the whole thing, cancel the reservation. The agree to cancel the reservation and refund the money. I go back to work. I start getting text messages reminding me to return the truck, this is the truck I don't have and never took out. I call uhual's help line 35 minutes on hold and it hangs up on me. I call again, 15 minutes on hold and they say I have to speak to a different area. Then another 15 minutes on hold. I speak to an agent who says they will take care of it but they can't reach a district supervisor. They will get back to me. No ever gets back to me. I receive an email copy of my receipt that I was charged for the truck. I will dispute it with my credit card company because I'm not wasting another minute of my life with uhaul. There are other companies that rent trucks and vans. I will definitely be going to them instead of uhaul in the future. Very unsatisfied customer.Derick C.
Apparently owners are new to u-haul. The blankets that I included in the order we're not delivered until 6 hours after I picked up the truck. The truck had $150,000 miles on it and was not suitable for a 600 mile trip. The windshield wiper flew off once I started using wipers in the rain.Michael T.

My reservation wasn't ready when I came to pick up the truck. Then when I returned it there was no where to return the keys to. The lady in charge assured me there was going to be someone there but there wasn't. I locked the keys in the truck and the day of the return, then was called a week later asking why the truck hadn't been returned. I explained it had been on the day of the return. The place of rental wasn't not very organized. I wouldn't recommend it.ANDREW O.

My original reservation was at 109 Waybrook Drive, Anderson, SC 29624. The attendant arrived 20 minutes late and did not have the 26 foot truck, which I had reserved. She found an available truck at Empire Masters, 1235 S. Main, Anderson, SC 29624. However, the change in location caused me to be 1 hour late for my appointment with the moving helpers, Express Movers from Greenville, SC. The movers were on time and did an outstanding job. My advise to future customers who want to start early in the morning, is to pick up the truck as late as you can on the day before. Plus, call to make sure the truck is there, which I did at the original location. You cannot depend on the U-Haul neighborhood sites to open on time or to have the truck that you need.Frank T.
