The employee who hooked the trailer to our hitch, did not properly tighten it to the ball hitch and the trailer came loose and was held only by the chains. This was caused by the bad road conditions on highway going thru Hamer into Dillon. The back lift gate was damaged and will need repair. We were lucky that we did not wreck and if the chains did not hold the trailer may have come thru the window. We reattached it the trailer and cautiously finished our chore. I would never recommend this site to pick up again we had to stop often and tighten the hitch it did not lock or hold the tightness properly. I have used u haul before but will seek other midesJames D.

Although the owner was very helpful and cordial, Eugene's is a run down mechanics shop that was out of the way for me to drop off the truck. It would have been easier to drop it off at Turner Motors, which is in town about a mile from my house.Mike H.

We were supposed to picked up in Lumberton NC and was called at last minute to see if we were coming to pick up our rental from SC . Was very upset was leaving at noon to go to WV so instead my husband had to drive to SC tonpi k up rental then back home to load then leave for WV. So didnt get on road until almost 4pm instead of noon. Was very inconvenience all around. Dont think we will rent through uhaul again. And no one every bothered to. Omenout to check to.see if he needed help hooking it up. Ghank god he new what he was doing.Jeffrey F.

The gentleman who rented us our equipment was very nice, but was very slow and didn't know how to operate a computer. It took us over an hour to get our equipment, which put us behind on our tripcathy P.

I'm not sure if it was Uhaul or the dealer but I reserved 24 moving blankets over a week in advance and when I arrived the dealer only had 6 available. I also had to wait 15 minutes for the owner to start my checkout process because he was working on someone else's car and there was no one else to help me at the time. Then I waited another 15 minutes to complete it because of computer and printer problems.Kevin C.

The guys at this location were great in helping us get the equipment we needed. I have to say the scheduler Chris Brand (hope I have the name correct) was most helpful finding me the best location with the right equipment I needed in a rush! If it was not for him I would not have been able to tow my vehicle to Florida! Over all everyone I spoke to in SC was every helpful when I really needed the help! Thank You,ERIC J.

Ensure that the specific equipment reserved is actually available at the location and time promised. This was not the fault of the pickup location, but of the regional dispatcher who had initially directed me to a distant location which did not have the proper equipment. (I collected the $50 guarantee, so I'm satisfied from that standpoint.)WILLIAM G.
