So they called us to prior saying that we would have to drive over an hour to pick up the size U-Haul we needed because the one that we were supposed to get wasn’t dropped off at the location that we were supposed to pick up at then they wanted to use all of my estimated miles gave us a little bit more of miles the wiper flew off halfway down the highway and also still charged me over $200 which I think was not OK because yeah being that we had to drive an hour to get it and they did give me $25 off and a dolly but other than that I still had to pay 100 and some dollars and we got two extra days supposedly but I think we ended up paying for him which we should have so I think we should get at least another discount because as of right now I would not refer U-Haul to anybody that’s how frustrated we were

On the day that I was supposed to drop off the uhaul in Waseca, MN the app was telling me to take it to Manakto which would have added 1.5 hours round trip, when the town that I selected was only 15 minutes away. A few days after I dropped it off, I received an email from uhaul telling me that the unit that I rented had not been dropped off, even though it was dropped off at the date, time & location that I selected. Just 2 days ago, I had $45 taken out of my account for "dropping off at the wrong location". After an email to uhaul and a complaint to the BBB, I got my money back. The reason that they wanted me to take it so far out of the way was to "help other families have access to the vehicle" with no regards to trying to force the renters to go out of their way to drop it off. No discount offered at all.
