This was the worst vehicle I have ever rented! The steering wheel had to be turned so far to the left just to drive straight and I dont think the shocks ha e ever been replaced!

If all the people at U-Haul was as courteous, and professional as the gentleman at this location, U-Haul would be unstoppable. The Orange City location needs to take lessons from this gentleman. Excellent personality, very professional! Thumbs up to this gentleman.

Predatory practices on behalf of U-Haul. Nothing against the location, but apparently now you have to check-in equipment by mobile device or get a hidden charge to your account. It would have been nice to be warned about this, as U-Haul always allowed customers to use the drop-off box. Customers shouldn't have to carefully read through every line of a contract to not be hit with frivolous hidden charges. Lifetime customer of U-Haul switching over to competitors since this isn't the first time I've been blindsided. Shame on corporate.

Not sure why I was billed so much, I was billed $60 on top of my original payment. That means I was billed for 75 extra miles on top of the 25 I prepaid. I absolutely did not do 100 miles

The trailer i hooked up to had a flat tire Now it didn't look flat. Bothe the manager and myself looked at the tires. The mechanic was not able to resolve the issue due to there being a piece of metal and a very large nail in the tire. The manager quickly changed me to a different trailer and was on my way.

I had no problem with the location but the uhaul truck was full of roaches we didn’t find this out until the truck was packed and a box of pizza was left in the drivers cabin unattended. The pizza was there only for about an hour and when we returned the bus was fill if roaches. This caused us to take out all the boxes and carry them in my dad’s trailer. Causing additional unnecessary trips and loss of time. When I requested ab extra day the costumer service rep was rude and acted like it was an excuse to get an extra day. I will be giving your company bad reviews based on this experience.

Have someone available at the site as we waited almost an hour for our truck keys.

I returned the truck with more fuel then I received it. I was still charged for 2 additional gallons of fuel. shame on me for not verifying the amount in the truck, matched with the corresponding paper work. when returning the truck I was asked to wait 10 minutes for the receipt, I didn't have the time to wait and the fuel surcharge was the price for not waiting. it was not the cost of the surcharge, its the principal of the matter. never again

Never received the dolly but was contacted by the Expert Care employee saying he would credit me the cost. Received my bill and shows I was charged for 2 dolly's and 6 furniture covers??? Tried to get ahold of Uhaul for a refund and they DO NOT return calls.

THESE GUYS ARE INCOMPITENT. THEY OVERCHARGED ME. THEY TOOK FOREVER ON THE COMPUTER TRYING TO ENTER THE INFORMATION. WHEN I COMPLAINED ABOUT OVERCHARGING ME, THEY SENT ME TO THE ORANGE CITY LOCATION. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.

Only one person working front desk of auto repair/Uhaul shop...came in to pick up trailer..went outside to move car from getting hit by truck...went back in and customer cut in front if me ...waited 25 minutes to talk to the 1 person and no one to hook up trailer...for older female...had to track down mechanic tossing trash to ask if he could help me...poor customer service

I had reserved a truck and trailer at the location nearest me and got a call the day before the move and was told that at my preferred location there weren’t any trucks the size I needed so I had to pick them up at a different location. Not a big deal. The issue I had with the new pick up location was it was co-located with a car repair business and it felt like being a U-Haul customer I wasn’t a high priority. Even though I had input all of reservation information online, after the price was totaled up it seemed higher than quoted online. Even though I selected no insurance coverage for the trailer, it had been added without my consent. I had to have it corrected. The location also didn’t have packing blankets that I had reserved so I was forced to drive to yet another location for those.

Vehicle needed an alignment. We didn't need a truck this big. The facility was really dark with no lighting. I attempted to return the veh at night and could not due to no lights there or visibility. GPS never said I was at the location. This place is behind another building. They need lights on this property to facilitate drop off after hours.

A tire on the car carrier went flat. The truck swam back-and-forth all the way, so it had issues. The cab and the back were filthy. It look like someone had a pet gorilla in it, there was black fuzz and fur all over the place. And a lots of little things that tell you the truck is not maintained. It came in and went right back out Without anyone taking a look at it. The console cover between the seats was broken and kept sliding around. The time was incorrect on the clock The knob is missing off the handle for the window.The windshield was so filthy I couldn’t see out of it first thing we had to do was clean it so we could drive it.

The store looks good computer needs dusting but the trucks we have rented 2 in the last 2 weekends and both need transmission work the first one felt like they had just done the brakes right before we got there very touchy the girl Patricia is the best thing you've got going there!!!

On the confirmation call I received I was told this was not a 24 hour pick up location and would have to wait until they opened in the morning for pickup. Upon showing up early in the hopes I would find someone there I discovered it was a 24 hour pickup location. Why the confusion?

I was charged a fee for not sweeping out the back of the truck. When I called the location I disputed this and the lady I spoke to told me I needed to speak to the regional sales manager and gave me a number to call. I called that number only to be told that wasn't the right area I needed to speak to.

The staff was helpful, but the truck was horrible. It burned oil, rode rough, the brakes felt as if they needed to be replaced, and it appeared that there was some sort of electrical issue. I have rented quite a few trucks of this size from Uhaul and this was by far the worst I've seen. I started using Uhaul because their trucks are always in the best shape, I thought.

The truck was generally clean and in good repair. The a/c worked, but wasn't as cold as we'd hoped. It was great for a short in-town trip. The customer service rep said she'd report the a/c issue to the maintenance guys, so I feel it was resolved well. Two thumbs up!

I made my reservation to pick up a 10’ truck at a closer location to my house. My time to pick up was 1pm. I showed up at 12:50 and the location had no trucks. I had to call the 800 # and was sent to another location which was further and resulted in my having to pay for extra mileage. Which if you had honored my original reservation I would not have had to pay.

Truck full of dog food when we pucked it up and then had audacity to charge my credit card $25 to clean mud from back of truck! Had no say as we dropped off Sunday morning and they were closed. Do not recommend.

My overall experience was terrible. My first reservation was lost. Then I was sent the wrong address to pick up the truck. I was then sent to this location. They were helpful and the truck was clean but they didn't know I was coming. I lost money as the movers I originally had couldn't stay until I arrived.
