The check engine light was on when i picked it up. The brakes seemed poor. And i opted for contactless pickup and drop off but that location only has keys at their front desk. I Had a hard time finding the office, there was no sign indicating were to go. I walked over in the back were there was a tire shop. I hand in the key to the truck and the lady told me that they would check it later and send me a text/email. I was not comfortable with leaving without a printout of my receipt for the rental, So I waited for the Girl to check the truck which, she claimed had an issue with a broken parking brake, which I did not notice was already broken before I got the truck from the rental place and had no pictures to prove it. Apparently it was not marked in the paperwork. When I got my receipt for the rental 1-2 days later it was different from What I initially set up, because I was charge for one way long distance rate versus if I had to return the truck back to the same place I originally got it from, I had to call customer service to resolve the issue.Carmenska J.

The truck had garbage from previous renter .. cleaned it up myself so they wouldn't think it was mine .. also the headlight is out .. was scared to drive past dark .. Took me 3 days to complete instead of 2.!! Tried using app for pick up and drop off .. App not available or took me to another website..! NOT impressed at all ..! The only plus was the location ..!! Says they charge $20 to check it in for you. i think that's a scam.. !!!! OBVIOUSLY it wasn't check in properly before me ..!!!SUNETTE B.

UHaul themselves (I had to deal with customer service), was good and helpful, this location though was not. My truck was not ready, wasn't even checked in from the night before and couldn't be released to me until it was checked in which no one on site was able to do. The person working on getting the truck ready for me was rude and specifically said, "I don't work for U-Haul, U-Haul doesn't pay me to do this, and I personally don't like U-Haul." While these things may be true, Expert Car Care is still providing rental services and the customer service received in renting a truck should still be acceptable and satisfactory. If it's not going to be, then don't provide the service. It took just under 40 mins for me to be able to leave the property from my scheduled appointment time.Tabatha P.

Well let's see first off I made my reservation to pick up at the location Elkham in Deltona for 24 hours. Shortly after making reservation online I got a cal to confirm. The young lady and I talked about reservation and I stated I wanted to pick 26 foot truck from Elkham location and wanted it for 24 hours and she confirmed. Listen to call. Day before I go to get truck I call and talk to Nick. I said i am picking u truck from Elkhambut why is it saying 6 hours. I want the truck for24 to be sure cuz I have a lot to move and not sure how long it takes. He said he would change the reservation and contact the person who was to get the truck after me cuz I wanted it for longer then 6 hours. No mention of picking up at another location I then mentioned it showed on my email that I was to get the truck from the Orlando location but text message said Saxon location but I wanted the Elkham location. Nick confirmed all would be fine. Morning comes for me to get truck. I had a few things I had to do so ran a little late to get truck. Guess where I went to get truck? Elkham to get told they don't have my reservation!! It was at the Saxon location. Poor keeping customer informed! Anyway I get over to get the truck which was a farther location so you got me for extra miles (probably planned) but anyway rented truck again originally I wanted truck for precaution 24 hours so what did Nick say please have truck back by 5 so I basically only was allowed 8 hours for truck. Granted I did return it around 2:30 3 pm BUT if I want something for my time I should get it or you should discount me. So now it's check in time fun fun. When I made original reservation I don't remember putting my CC on file so I waited for Nick to get back from lunch. When he got back he stated all you had to do was leave the keys and I said I don't remember if I put a CC on file so he proceeded to walk out to truck and check it in and look it over. Guess what happened next!! When he came back into the office an older couple was there to have their car looked at cuz check engine light was one. Guess what Nick did. Instead of finishing me out and confirm augment was on file. At least I'm being honest and saying you need to check attention instead of leaving. 15-20 minutes later after looking at other customers car he came back into office and I said if payment is on file the process it if not then oh well!! Payment ended up being processed and I agree to the $39.95 and $15 for mile well shouldn't cuz I had to pay more cuz the location was farther away then where so wanted to pick up up and go to!! You charge me for 4 gallons of gas. Even if that truck got 10 miles to the gallon that's only 2 miles which I found out those charges when I called That's ridiculous!! And when I call to confirm my charges she tells me I never reserved it for 24 hours so I said so your calling me a liar after talking with agents prior to this during The Whole thing. And since you wanna call me a liar you have a good day. And I hung up and filing this complaint now. I tefuse to rent from you again. I will pay a higher fee before I do. Pick up location. Personnel were not wearing masks, I ordered 12 blankets and only received 2. I ordered a dolly and received a hand cart. Vehicle was not full. No masks at drop off location. Very poor service. I don't need to wait in an environment that increases my risk for getting the virus.FRANK P.
Truck was very dirty and had items in it from the previous rental. The cab smelled awful like rotten food and cigarettes. My appliance dolly wasn't in the truck and I was told that they didn't have anymore. It was the worst UHaul experience. The truck was in poor condition.Joshua M.

I had reserved the truck, a car towing dolly, an appliance dolly, and 12 blankets with over a weeks notice. They had no appliance dolly & only 6 blankets when I got there. The movers I contracted through U-Haul to load my truck (Enterprise Movers) were 3 hours late, did a horrible job loading (we, as customers, had to rearrange half the truck to get everything to fit), and they damaged/destroyed several items. They blamed it on U-Haul's scheduling system.Anthony S.

Yes I would recommend this location provided the leak be fixed on the truck I had rented as well as the air conditioning system be repaired. The people at Custom Car Care 3 were nice enough but not overly friendly and offered no solutions to me regarding the leak.SARAH W.

Make sure your pricing clearly matches what your App/Online prices are vs in person and clearly differentiate the types "trips" I made my reservation online and was quoted $53 +taxes and the like, I came out paying a little over $100 when everything I had was budgeted properly when I was told that I would be paying less. Even had to get a bigger truck because the truck I had originally reserved was for "LOCAL" trips only. That made no sense when I was indeed going from one location to the other. This was never explained on the website nor the app. using the self pickup option on the application is horrendous as well. I was asked for my passport, employee phone number and the attendant "Danielle" was horrible as well. Didn't answer any of my questions and rudely kicked me out of the chat session because there was nothing more she can do... like I was inconveniencing her. Over all.. DON'T USE THE ONLINE SERVICES. Go to the rental locations in person instead. The staff at expert car care 3 were very kind and wonderful. They explained what had happened and even though I was visibly upset, they assisted me and fiance through the whole process without any hiccups.MCCLURE I.

Since the drop off location listed on my paperwork didn't exist, I went to the closest Uhaul. The lovely lady that worked there told me that if she checked me in there, she would have to charge me so she gave me directions to where I was assigned (but not told previously) to drop off. She also gave me instructions for how to do the process without having to deal with anyone(I'm incredibly grateful to her for that). Luckily the place was close and I was able to drop off the truck. But then I was told I was going to be charged an extra $56 for an extra day of rental even though I returned the truck on Wednesday like my paperwork said. The truck got me where I needed to go but the communication and lack of correct information (except for the lady that works in DeBary) makes me not want to use Uhaul again.Sharin A.
