Well first of all you should probably put the right persons name on the contract paperwork. Or check the driver's I'd with the person renting the truck! Because your company rented a van to my daughter and because she gave the person making the reservation my phone number it auto filled the rest of my info and your agent helping my daughter just left it like that. And if my daughter had got into a accident I would be held responsible. So when my daughter returned the van I was with her and I asked the lady why they did that and that I never agreed to any of that. The agent proceeded to tell me that because I was her parent I was responsible. I said the hell i am. I want my name removed from that contract I never rented from you guys. She said she will talk to her boss but I never heard back from her or her boss.DEEANN H.

We are a large non profit that needed a vehicle for Thanksgiving food in an emergency. We were given inaccurate information on costs, charged sales tax when we are a tax deductible organization. The parking lot to park in was not plowed and due to a storm it was difficult to get the vehicle back on time. The cost was $100 over expected. We needed storage for turkeys that other organizations had previously donated without cost, and this organization never returned my request for at least a discount.DAVE R.

The location is great, person was nice and easy to deal with. However, the truck was very dirty inside. I had to wash my hands and clean the steering wheel when I got home. Yuck. Also, I had to pay $20 to park my car at their lot during my brief rental. Had no choice as I couldn't find a ride there. That's gouging.James C.

Hello, The lady who helped was very nice. However, I initially tried to reserve a 20' truck several weeks ago. There wasn't one available so it had to be a 26'. All of that was done through an Anchorage rep who is 500 miles away from Juneau. I went there at 10am sharp and it took about 15 minutes to get the reservation. The technology wasn't working for her. The truck mileage and gas meter didn't coincide with what I had so I went back. I had to interrupt folks in front of me as now there was about an hours worth of reservations in the line. We exchanged notes on it. I drove off to get a call about 20 minutes later that she gave me the wrong keys and could I come back. She had in fact given me the 20' truck. I went back and got a 26' truck. The truck was clean, but the engine light was on. Immediately when I started driving the shimmy was horrible. Got worse as I sped up. The paperwork said the gas gauge was at a quarter, but it was well below that so I put $41 into the tank. And when I got to the house, the truck couldn't get up my driveway -it's steep and the bumper jammed or hung-up on the bottom. A total loss. $80 rental + $41 gas +three hours on a moving day. I didn't even open the back door. Would appreciate a refund.Glenn H.
I rented the truck for a total of 7 hours (the rate is based on 24 hours), but because I dropped off after the business closed I was charged an additional fee. It's a drop box. Not like anyone had to do anything with it and they probably just did first thing in the morning. I was not advised of this and I was clear that I was bringing the vehicle back on a couple hours (obviously after they would be closed), but there was NO MENTION of a after hours charge (that exceeded a whole day rental). I mean really? Do better as I feel taken advantage of and unless that charge is reversed, I'll make sure to share my experience with anyone who asks. I am disappointed and have spent thousands with u-haul over the years for major moves, but this experience definitely put a bitter taste in my mouth. Didn't have the U-Haul I reserved. I reserved a 26 and got a 10. Not having the ramp was really hard. Should not allow customers to reserve a U-Haul if there are none availableâ€¦Nichole O.

Was there no way to rent hand truck, boxes, packing supplies etc. When I first called place to rent U-Haul they were very helpful as renting a uhaul from this location. Basically told me to go online to reserve the vehicle. Ended up calling reservation center in Anchorage AK to reserve vehicle for the Juneau location.RONALD A.

This is apparently the only dealer in Juneau Alaska. My original reservation was discontinued without notice. I presume that dealer is no longer a deal in Juneau. As for this dealer, the person renting is new to U-Haul and all that is implied... Uncertain of alot of aspects. Another client that was trying to rent a truck at the time that I was felt frustrated. The cab of the truck was dirty upon pickup, but I cleaned it and returned it cleaner than when i rented it. I do not think that an elderly woman at a sewing shop is the best fit for U-Haul dealer, but who knows? Perhaps she will prove me wrong.Glenn S.
