The problem was not with the locations for pick up or drop off. The problem was the process to reserve. I reserved a 10ft truck in Rolla Mo at Extreme Accessories. I got a call the Thursday before to confirm. The lady mentioned that I would be picking up a 15ft truck on Friday. I corrected her and said I was to pick up a 10ft truck on Saturday. She confirmed I had been upgraded as they did not have a 10ft truck. I got to the location Saturday and no one was there. She had told me they would be open Saturday 8-5. I called her and was told they were there. She told me I was at the wrong location. They were in a completely different town I did not even know where it was. She referred me then to Uhaul reservations. I called that number and I told her that I needed a truck in Rolla MO. NOT any other town. She told me that she could get me a 10 ft in Joplin. I explained again, that I was not from the area, which is why I put a reservation in for ROLLA MO because that is where my son was in college and needed a truck to move him. She then told me that all she could get me in Rolla was a 26ft truck. Which was more truck than what we needed. At this point I was extremely frustrated and just took what they had so I could get my son packed before his graduation. Once I got to the graduation I went online as a customer only to see that a different location in Rolla HAD a 15ft truck. Yet that was never offered to me. We ended up have to take a different route home, because the truck was so large. Spent more in gas, and it took much longer to get home in a larger truck than expected. I just could not believe that if someone wanted a truck in one town, they would schedule you a truck in another town 40 miles away. When trucks were available where I requested one. And when the lady called to confirm, she never once told me she was not in Rolla. Just said she was confirming my rental for that weekend. This has really caused strain on us that day, and I will probably look for other companies when my son moves across the country next month. Doing business with U-Haul felt unorganized and unprofessional.

Radio shut off every bump AC shut off every bump sometimes wouldn’t turn on passenger door locked didn’t work. No light didn’t work. There was trash in the box there was trash food and stuff on the floor seat in the cab spent an extra thousand dollars worth of fuel going from Missouri to Arizona. After was fully loaded once I started hitting down grades trailer brakes weren’t working

It showed just under 1/2 tank in the lot, but when I went down the highway, just away from the location, it was actually reading between 1/2 & 1/4 tank. I returned the truck with the same amount of fuel that it actually read. Unfortunately, I was charged a $40 fuel charge. VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THAT..

I felt very insecure about all of this. St.Peters store should know info of business vehicle being dropped at to inform patron.

He reassured me that the cameras they had installed would make sure that I was covered!

The only complaint that I have is that; the trailer had debris in it, presumably from the previous renter, ( cardboard boxes plastic tubing etc.) . I disposed of the items. For a better customer experience, more care could be taken to ensure that debris wasn't in the trailer. This is the only suggestion that I have to improve the customer experience. Overall I was very pleased with the service provided. It was an excellent experience. Thanks!
robert bClean and maintenance your trucks the truck I had was dirty the check engine light came on while I was driving what should have been 20 minute drive up 44 turned into a 45 minute drive because that truck just wouldn’t catch speed and then I found out from someone who works at uhaul that they rented is a truck that hadn’t been state inspected
