There’s never a U-Haul representative on-site, which increases the overall wait time for picking up and dropping off the van. I always have to speak to a clerk who then uses an intercom to call another employee, who eventually contacts the actual U-Haul representative—even though I’ve already been assigned a vehicle. This entire process takes about 10 to 20 minutes on average, and the wait time grows longer if employees are unavailable to assist. Even after checking out, clerks make you wait due to a weird policy requiring them to confirm details with the U-Haul representative, as they’re often unaware of the current status. While the equipment is reliable, U-Haul could significantly improve its on-site service efficiency. The delays and lack of coordination make it feel as though U-Haul operations are treated as a secondary or last-minute concern at this location.

All over a mess- dirty, misc garbage etc. The dash showed low washer fluid so we put washer fluid in and it leaked right out, so we wasted all our washer fluid plus we weren’t able to wash the windshield.

William TI recently rented a U-Haul from the Family Fruit location, and overall, it was a smooth experience. The location was conveniently close to my old home, which made the process much easier. Booking the vehicle was quick and straightforward, and the manager was very helpful in reconfirming my reservation over the phone, which added to my peace of mind. That said, there are areas that could be improved. The vehicle I rented clearly needed a wheel alignment as it was pulling while driving, which made handling it a bit stressful. Additionally, they didn’t have moving blankets available, which was disappointing as those are essential for protecting furniture during a move. Overall, the experience was good, but addressing these issues could make it even better for future customers.

Jay YI asked for two furniture dollies when I placed my order. I paid an extra $14 to make sure that those were in my truck, as well as a dozen furniture blankets. Neither were on my van when I picked it up. I didn't realize till I made it to my house to start moving. Negative experie

Andrew SI dropped the key back within 6 hrs of renting it. I was charged an extra 1 day because the drop off location did not mark it as dropped off. I have to make 5 phone call and spend half a day disputing the extra day charge. I was able to get my money back but it's just a waste of my time and very annoying. Poor customer service
Warren FUhaul location did not have a fueled Uhaul van leaving us with less than 1/8th of a tank to drive. There were a pair of gloves and a used nasal decongestant balm in the driver compartments of the van. When we dropped the van off outside regular business hours at 1:00AM in the morning, there was no drop off box. There was no one to contact. The Uhaul phone line from family fruit had a full voicemail and the main Uhaul phone number was outside operation hours. There really should be a Uhaul drop off box for keys. Both Shop Smart and Family fruit locations do not have a drop off box for keys outside business hours, which leaves a huge risk of the keys being stolen. There really should be a drop off box...
