The Van listed for pickup at the Lexington TN location was extremely dirty with cigarette ash on dash are around steering column. Entire truck was dirty. The front right tire was flat with only 15PSI and the guy said I could take it down to the gas station and put air in it to see if holds air or could just refund. At that point due to need for van I had no choice but to get air. He then told me I could call roadside service to have tire replaced. I found a gash in the tire after putting air in both after getting home spent 2 hours getting road side to come by and replace tire with spare. The roadside service was nice and fairly organized but the serviceman that arrived didn't know it was uhaul 3rd party that hired him nevertheless completed the job. Ultimately the van did fine for my 12 hour round trip but locations should be held accountable for at least putting some effort into cleaning truck to a decent nature and / or calling in repairs before customer gets. Not fair to pay almost $300 for a 24 hour rental to get a dirty smelly vehicle when other locations give a clean one in my personal experience.

Other than that, everything was great. U-Haul worked quickly to get the payment corrected and I am very satisfied with the customer service representatives for U-Haul.

Have courteous customer service agents (ones that do not hang up on customers. Not change pick up location multiple times. The next customer will not be me...EVER!!!

Stephen M.1. Have vehicle clean/ swept out/dirty floor mats 2. Do not say a $25.00 fee on drop off - cleaning, when we took pictures, prior to leaving Lexington, Tennessee 3. Truck in my name (Nora Dishon) I paid up front when making reservation, had a balance due to me, grandson picked up and drove to Sugar Land, Texas for me. When requesting monies to be put in my bank account, they told me (corporate office) they could not speak to me, had to have grandson call to say OK , I reserved, I paid, so I should have been able to request refund, 83 years old and need someones approval to get my money back, will not recommend ever again to family, friends, or otherwise, BAD experience all around for me. Oh, and when we got truck in Lexington, Tennessee the rep did not go with us to check out truck, we took pictures before leaving lot, what kind of service is this? my first instinct was Budget, but went with Uhaul, closer to items to be brought back to Texas.
