We never interacted with this location. The mobile pickup was awful. We spent two hours with our crying baby in the car trying to figure out why the mobile app wouldn't let us pick up. The associates we spoke to told us a bunch of different stuff. One said it was because we were late and they gave the truck away. Which was not true. We got it all figured out after a while but it was a bad experience. We will not do mobile check in ever again.

CURTIS TI had a minor misunderstanding about daily price rates but Matthew Belfie cleared up the issue very concisely. The location itself as well as staff were also very accommodating.

KENNETH FI went to get my key after checking in on my phone and she was rude. Also I was charged for a dolly and they didn't put it in the truck. I also extended my reservation till 11:30am today, dropped it off at 11:22am and they charged me for 2 days! Not to mention uhaul customer service was giving me a 50 credit for my issues with labounty. So I was charged an extra day rental for everything and 2 days for a dolly I never got and I didn't get my discount. Not a good experience at all.

DAVID JJohn of Ferndale saved the day since I was told 4 times incorrect information about pickup location from Uhaul and never told office was closed until 10 am after talking to John. Ferndale Storage is staffed by Richard and John and are both beyond excellent . Unfortunately Uhaul employees were not well trained for 4 separate conversations trying to confirm price, location, time for pickup and what was needed for rental. It took their field supervisor to manage online system. Repeatedly had to repeat process and finally got field supervisor Alex who was able to solve online problem and was able to get into Key Box Saturday morning at 830 am. Alex was excellent office and able to problem solve online system.

Then instead of dropping off at the designated UHaul al near our home they switched us to another location father away! Fortunately this time we were able to get them to switch it back.

Vinh HDON'T RENT FROM UHAUL! Anna at Ferndale Self Storage was the only positive thing about this experience. My reservation was at the Bellingham UHAUL location on Guide Meridian, but they didn't have the truck I reserved, and in fact had no trucks available. They said there was nothing they could do, and there might be a truck in the early afternoon. It was 8:30 in the morning, the time of my confirmed reservation. There were people at my house ready to help us move our things. We had to do it that day. Thanks Uhaul. Instead I called around, rather than a person at the store helping me resolve their mistake, and eventual got ahold of a manager who directed me to the Ferndale Self Storage, where a much smaller truck than what I had reserved was available. Anna was delightful and helpful, but the rental cost me over twice as much as I would had paid because I had to make two trips, thus paying for twice the milage and twice the gas. To top it off, the Uhaul customer service people said that they had texted, called, and emailed me to let me know about the change, despite having done none of those things. I actually checked my phone records, just to make sure, they were so insistent. So icing on the cake, the called me a liar and told me the whole thing was my fault. I guess so, for choosing to do business with Uhaul. I would totally rent from Ferndale Self Storage again. I would do business with a guy on the street with no shoes and a sign that said "Rent Truck. Good Price." But I won't ever be going back to Uhaul.

JAMES WU-Haul rep was very friendly and helpful. Truck was in great condition. Had a small issue during drop off, but U-haul rep assisted us and resolved the issue the next day. Had a great experience and we will definitely rent from this location again!

Kim HThe manager of this location, Robert Pasketwitz, was completely awful and made our experience miserable first thing in the morning on moving day. Our scheduled pick up time was 9am according to my uhaul confirmation and he doesn't open until 10am. I could have understood this mistake if it wasn't for the following things that he did after that. That part was not his fault and I understand. He made it abundantly clear that he was working on his day off and uhaul made a mistake because he doesn't open until 10am. I showed him my email that said 9am and he was angry at me and uhaul for this. Then he tried to charge me $165 after I did the online prepay and check in the day before which was supposed to "cut my check in time in half." That was the complete opposite. I told him I prepaid the night before and didn't want to pay again and he was very very grouchy about it and rudely demanded me to "prove it and show him my bank statement." So I did. I showed him the payment in my account but because I had just paid it the night before it was still "pending" in my account. He told me that because it was pending it didn't mean I paid it. He wouldn't accept that. I told him well I paid and I do not want to be charged twice, I don't know what he wants me to do. I gave him proof. So he told me to "pick up my phone And call uhaul and let them deal with me since this was their mistake " and about 5x while we were there he said "I used to be the GM of uhaul and the system isn't like that and blah blah blah." Never one time was he trying to make things easier or be helpful to us. He wouldn't even call uhaul himself. I had to do it while he went on multiple rude and angry rants about how he used to the the GM there....which is great and all but it's obvious there's a reason he is not now. He has no customer service skills at all. Eventually I got through to someone at uhaul and explained the situation and she said she could see that I prepaid and I asked her to tell this to Robert. He wouldn't take my phone and made the kind lady call his personal phone. He made everything AS DIFFICULT AS POSSIBLE the entire hour+ we were there. Then when the kind lady was trying to tell him I had paid he just starting yelling at her and making demands "no you look here, this is what I want you to do" and that he wanted a call from the president personally etc and was so awful to her on the phone what she couldn't talk to him anymore and transferred him to someone else. Then he was being HORRIBLE and rude to the next person and saying again "I used to be the GM of uhaul and these people came at 9am and I dont open until 10am and you made a mistake and the system is different than when I was GM..and I'm getting a bad review out of these people and I want to talk to the president etc." He was doing NOTHING to help me. He was just complaining about things and yelling at people and making demands to them over the phone while doing nothing to help us. Both people he spoke to told him I
