The Van I rented was NOT AT THE LOCATION I had arranged - THE RENTAL PLACE in Sebastopol. I had to drive across town to secure a Van at FIVE STAR TIRES in Santa Rosa. The guy helping me told me that I could return the Van to the original location that I had hoped to rent it from in the first place. On the late afternoon that I returned the Van (to The Rental Place) I learnt that this WAS NOT POSSIBLE, and I had to return it to STAR TIRES. This was truly impossible for me at that time. THIS COST ME $314.00. I TOOK THIS CHARGE UP WITH U HAUL'S COSTUMER SERVICE and they were unwilling to make it right. So: 1.The Van wasn't where I needed it when I needed it. 2. The incorrect information regarding where to return it cost me $314.00. 3. The customer service and care all the way around was totally abysmal. Wow! Customer service is everything. Get with it U Haul.

Truck was solid; no problems.
BRIAN RFive Star Tires was super easy to find and the keys were easy to get on their end. HOWEVER, U-Haul made this experience quite bad. Not only did I find out the night before that the truck we ordered was not available and we were forced to rent a larger model for our trip across the country which complicated and added expense to our drive, but the truck and the tow dolly we rented were located on opposite sides of town. Once we located the truck, the u-haul app would not approve me for about 45 minutes, so we sat in the parking lot next to the truck on hold with u-haul.
Grant SNot only did I not get the truck that I was promised, but there was not dolly either. They said “ you can buy one for $60” I was like no thanks. Awful experience.
