I called this location during business hours because I had rented the U-Haul to make a one-way trip and I had never been to Fontana before. I received an email from U-Haul asking me to confirm where I would be dropping off. I called this location and asked how drop off would work after hours because I didn’t think I’d have the truck there by the time they closed. The person who spoke with me, told me to read my email. When I told him I’m on the road driving and just ask for general idea of what the process would be like he told me he didn’t have time and that I should read my email.. That email night. I ended up having to call U-Haul customer service with my husband on the line back in San Diego to help me figure out how to leave the truck. It was very disappointing. I got the truck dropped off, but I didn’t feel safe at that location in the dark and it was honestly a stressful process. The customer service at this location was horrible and disappointing. I will know, however the girl I spoke with on the phone was super nice and stayed on the call with me until I got everything figured out and she even had me take pictures of the truck to document everything and she was very nice so that sort of made up for the meanie at the location

NICOLE CI declined the insurance but I was still charged insurance. I called and emailed for refund but no response from UHaul. Very disappointed. Only great thing was Mr Mardi is a great guy to deal with at the time of pickup and drop off this is the only reason I gave five stars otherwise one star.

Sheela JReserved truck to be pick up in Ontario and received a called to be pick up in Fontana. Not sure why U-Haul won’t send it to Ontario. Very disappointed. I had to fight traffic to get to Fontana. I reserved 2 weeks ahead. You think that by time it comes to be picked up Uhual would’ve it at location is was supposed to be. Very bad experience. Next time I would go to different provider.
DANIEL CAppliance dolly and blankets were not with the truck. Only 2 miles of gas left in the tank when vehicle was picked up

Reggie vThere was no staff present. I didn't know where to park. The store itself was very hard to find. Finally I found a mechanic working on a diesel tractor and he took the keys from me. There was no one in the office. Also, we were supposed to drop off at a location closer to home but when we got to that location they said they weren't accepting drop offs. We had to drive another 3 miles to the other location. There was a lot of confusion all the way around.
CHRISTINE WWhat I have say has nothing to do with the location at fix it diesel. My issue was with uhaul. I have rented from uhal for years this is the first time I have had this bad experience. My trick was not at the location and they had no trucks οr other equipment. Went to the main location there are no trucks. A rep had to find me a truck that was 20 mins away. My move started started late. I which cost me time and money. The extra equipment I ordered was not in the truck. That cost me time and money. This my worst experience with uhal. I rated my overall experience a 2 star for the supply of the truck.
AuTisha TI had a reservation to pick up in Rancho Cucamonga I get there and they are closed on wendsdays so I had to drive to fontana location.

EHAB NThey did not seem prepared for my arrival nor did they take a signature or go over the expenses of the cost. The damage was not documented accurately on the truck, they didn't have the dolly I rented, and seemed as though they were rushing me out.
Alexis AI placed the reservation and pre-registered online for a "quicker checkout," but when we arrived to pick up the truck, the rep had to it put the same information again. Redundant system. The incentives offered us fell out of the system and she almost had to start all over. It took an hour to get the vehicle...this is a quicker checkout?
