This is more about U-Haul than Flitzer Haus. U-Haul going to third parties to issue trucks is a highly risky venture. I was promised a truck at a location two miles from me. It was then updated at the last numinute because that truck was not available. The customer did not return it. I had to get with someone that could take me the 15 miles to the other location. All of this was happening while grieving the loss of my mother, which was the need for this move. When I drove the truck away, the gas gauge was on empty. The record said it should have been a quarter of a tank. I had to put enough gas in it to cover where it should have been to begin with. I was told by the third party he would get me reimbursed that amount as well as the $50 reservation location guarantee. None of that was credited. My credit card was still charged the full amount. I will no longer deal with U-Haul and go to a competitor in the future. I will also spread the word far and wide regarding my experience with U-Haul.
