Julie SI recently rented a U-Haul and was really disappointed with the condition of the vehicle. As soon as I opened the door, I was hit with a strong smell of cigarette smoke. The interior smelled like it had been smoked in for days, and there were ashes in the cup holder and all around the cabin. It was unpleasant to drive and made the whole moving experience less comfortable. I expected a clean, well-maintained vehicle, but unfortunately, that wasn’t the case this time.

Geoffrey CThe Pros: The location in proximity to my address was the reason I decided on this site. The store rep was kind. I reserved a hand dolly but the store didn't have one but I was given an appliance dolly for the same price. The Cons: I checked in on my mobile as I selected but I still had to to the complete check in again once at the site. It was a lot of time wasted. If I knew I had to check in again, I would have not opted to check in via mobile. Also, the mileage that was noted on the receipt was different than the mileage on the actual truck by 3 miles, therefore I was charged an additional 3 miles of which were not mine. Lastly, the check engine light was illuminated on the dashboard from the time I picked up the truck. I used it regardless in hopes it won't breakdown while I was using it.

MICAH CRental dollies were not in truck, which I paid, and there were leaves in the back of the truck.
Robert HI ordered there to be a dolly with the van, but there was no dolly when we picked it up. Hopefully, this has been removed from my bill.

Nancy LThe pick up location owner store did not open until 10 am and my truck was scheduled for 8 am. The owner did not treat us well he was not prepared the truck only had a quarter tank of gas and he showed racial bias towards us he decided to check out the white man before us even though we were there waiting for a long time to pick up the truck for the other man ever entered the store. he had to search all the trucks for a dolly because he couldn't find one. Overall we will not pick up here again. He also took a picture of my husband's ID on his cellphone even though he did Not do that for the white customers it's very offensive to be treated like a criminal when we are Not!

JOSHUA CThe only difficulty encountered was at the end (i.e., return) of this most recent rental during the photographing of the dash to document the fuel level & odometer readings. The difficulty, specifically, was that the app only allowed its photo module to take the photo & then it didn't even progress any further with the return portion of the app. However, since the picture it took was too blurry to even see ANY of the odometer numbers, that part of the return process was rather futile anyway.
Richard BClean and maintain shared truck in passenger area. Be honest when reporting gas used. I was billed for gas because they reported the gauge lower than actual. No worries use your credit card so you can dispute. Always keep your own records. Would not recommend this location.
TAMALAASSATA MThe person who helped us was fantastic, he asked what we were moving and then made two great recommendations based on what we were moving that helped immensely. The truck needed an oil change (the change oil light was on), it did not cool efficiently (and it was 100+ degrees outside). The location and ease of renting the truck were great. My recommendation would be that they upkeep the trucks.

Daphney DThe truck was very dirty in the back loading area. The inner rubber seal on the driver side completely fell off and would stay in place. The truck was hazardous to drive and should repaired and cleaned immediately.

EHSON KThis was the first time I’ve rented a U-Haul from a convenience store so I was unsure what to expect. I needed something quick at the last minute to move a table, I was able to rent a van 2 hours before closing. The van was nice, it was a newer model with rear camera and push to start. There were something’s left from a previous driver. The lady who helped me was really nice and helpful. I would rent from here again.

Doris SThe guy at the counter was rude and tried putting me in vans with either check engine lights on, flat tires, or burned out headlights. Ended up having to downsize to a 9ft van because none of the 10ft trucks were safe enough to drive. Had to make more trips and was more of a hassle all because the trucks were horribly maintained.

Belinda MFor starters, the mileage that they put on the paperwork was incorrect. They claimed I traveled 48 miles, in addition to the 20 miles I already paid for, when I literally went less than 5 miles away. They also lied and said that I returned their truck with an empty tank, when I stopped at a gas station right before I returned their vehicle. Thankfully, I had pictures to prove that they lied and tried to steal from me. If I hadn't had evidence, I would've had to pay over 120 dollars for a three hour rental.
Sheneah AI was very shocked when I arrived to pick up my truck and was told my wife just drove off with the truck. I left the house and my wife to pick up the truck so I knew it was not my wife. So someone without the same name or address was able to pick up the truck I reserved and have the bill paid by my credit card on file is a little concerning.

The inside of the truck was dirty (the cab) The gasket for the windshield is coming off and banging on the cab when you drive. very distracting. I contacted the OL chat about the mileage but was still charged for the incorrect miles.
Joshua CNo staff person was available or answered their locally listed number. Parking spaces were full and I had to call another place to find out how to return the truck. They walked me through the mobile return process which was helpful.
