Rented storage unit for 17 years, very satisfied customer the grounds are secure and clean, staff is nice and friendly this place stands up to its name. Best in storage place in Pittsburg.

Price quoted on UHaul website were not held for Fort Knox. Actual prices were not only higher but were scheduled to rise monthly - bait and switch is both illegal and fraudulent.

Steep late fees that keep increasing, if you think you will be late at anytime you may want to look into other storage facilities late fee policies before making a final decision.

I loved the staff that got me into the unit. When leave the staff was helpful with absolutely no pressure to stay or downsize. I like that my desires came first, not the business's.

The worst storage unit I have ever had. When I first can to the storage unit to look at 1 of the units the main guy that works there seemed like he didn’t want to rent 1 out to me and also I had gave them my Identification card instead of my id due to them both being th same number her got a attitude because I said I was going to walk up to my storage and stated that he needed to see my id in order for me to do that which was stupid and also they tried to over charge me for days I wasn’t going to be using the unit the most racist place I have ever went to.

These people were the best. They provided us such personalized care. They helped us load up our U-haul at our home and unload at the site and drive the truck through the site. Every time we accessed our unit they were friendly and helpful. They helped us donate and move items we no longer needed. They all just went above and beyond in the services they provided! We wish every uhaul experience was like this.

My storage was broken into and I believe the alarm that is tied to my unit should have alerted the staff since I had not been there and the resolution well there was none. By the time Jay responded to me ut had been past 30 days and I had to complain about him not following up and no response was provided of what to expect for future security of my belongings as I had discovered the items missing while I was up grading my unit to a larger one. I did not feel my belongings where safe and when I was tild that I cannot assume my belongings would be 100 percent save then it was a red flag to move my things out of there.

8/31 I reserved a unit for 9/7.I called on 9/6 to confirm & see about doing paperwork. 9/7 my truck was loaded & I thought I needed another space, so I called, I was told I couldn't move in until 9/10

I drove up to pay my bill and the guy walked out of the store and I thought he was going to unlock someone’s storage but he didn’t come back for a hour. He came back with his lunch. He saw me drive up

I wssnt able to rent the unit unfortunately. I wasnt aware that the office closed at 1pm and wasnt able to make cutoff to rent a unit in time. Had to rent as somewhere else else who was more avail.

Access to hand trucks/bed could be made better. Something secure so they can't get stolen but made available to those who need it. Both hand trucks were locked up.

I chose this storage through the U-Haul website to receive the 1st month free with oneway truck rental. Upon arriving I showed the associate my confirmation. He simply said, we do not honor the offer.

The customer service here is awesome. I moved from Chicago to the Bay and at the end of a long drive, these guys made everything easy. The contents of my 20 foot uHaul all fit into a 10x20 locker.
