Truck looked clean. But when we started loading we could tell that it was previously used to haul beauty bark inside the box. There were many chunks of it wedged between the rails and the side, and the box reeked of it. Thankfully, our stuff was boxed up so it wasn’t really an issue. I swept out the bark remnants best I could and explained it when I returned it

Absolutely nothing. The 20' Supermover Van I rented was in fantastic shape! I drove it over 2,700 miles with no problems what soever. The van got better fuel economy that I expected. I don't intend on ever moving again (what a hassle) but if I do, I will confidently choose U Haul again.

Truck was dirty in the cab. Collected garbage from previous renter and gave to the rental company. Paid $155 for 53 miles and a 20ft truck, not to mention the $25 in gas to make sure I didn't get charged. Had truck for 4 hours. Paying that much per mile, you might expect that the cab would be at least clean and not have discarded junior mints box that was still full, a paint stick pen, and an empty large 48oz or larger cup chilling under the seats.

Overall experience was a quick and smooth process, pleased with the paperwork side. Access into the truck was very difficult for me due to arthritic knees as there was no "step up" to assist in getting into cab. The cleanliness of the truck was fine except for the noticeable amounts of sunflower seed shells around both of the seats that would have been accessible with a vacuum. Overall, I was pleased with the rental, the box truck was perfect for the purpose used for and the young man in the office was knowledgeable and courteous.
