The website said vehicles were available, which was close to my home, so I just ran over to the bodega. The truck was available, but they were not ready to rent trucks; the bodega workers had to call someone in Orlando ( I rented in Tampa). The transaction had to be completed over the phone, which was slow and painful. The people were super nice, the equipment worked as advertised, and the location was convenient. But U-Haul is a business, you should be able to do business from any of your locations, with or without an APP. I was asked to download the U-Haul app, which was crashing and failing. End of story I am still waiting for my close-out receipt, and for my refund, I only used 8 of my estimated miles. I was also charged a $15.00 Safe Move charge that I did not authorize.
