The owner is selling Trump apparel, podcasting out of the office space, working out (there is a weight bench) and selling really strange items. This was not the location I selected to pickup my vehicle from and the vehicle was not in the condition the pictures taken showed. The interior was dirty, the exterior had damage not shown when I reviewed and had to upload numerous photos of existing damage.Garrett H.
We had excellent service from beginning to end. They didn't have a 15 ft truck so they gave us a 20 ft truck at the same cost. They even gave us a truck with a full tank of gas. It was a great experience and made my transition go well.Zachary A.

Jim has always been such a pleasure to work with. We have rented several U-Haul trucks and have had storage since since February. The facility is monitored, always felt safe, is extremely clean, never seen a rodent so I believe he has his facility well maintained and pest inspected. Truck box was damaged on the inside and the previous user tried to hide it, as it was not noticeable when we were loading the truck. However, when we were unloading the truck much of our belongings had water damage as it had rained during our travels.Brian K.

uHaul called and told me that the 10 foot truck was not available, and said I would have to take a 15 foot (Made my reservation over three weeks before). When I got to Carlisle, they had a 10 foot. A relative referred me to this facility and so glad they did. When sons helped me move in and out, they said if it were more convenient to their homes, they’d switch their storage. We loved the use of an app to enter and exit, kiosk available to purchase lock, automatic payments, and well maintained drive areas. Also appreciated the fact the storage entrances were raised slightly above ground level to prevent water from running into the units. Thank you to Jim for the great service! B A D service from pleasantville, Iowa. Reserved 15 foot truck 2 weeks before I needed it. 2 days before pick up they called and told me they only had a 10 foot for me. I was required to drive 20 minutes out of my way to drop off the vehicle versus driving 2 minutes away for the location I had chosen during the reserving process. I was told this was due to the chosen location hosting too many vehicles. This not only cost me time, but additional money for gas. Again, the poorest form of customer service. Uhaul -- if this is the case, please consider picking up the vehicle yourself from the customer...Jill J.

I tried to do my reservation online but when I tried to use the U-Haul app at the destination, the app wouldn't work. Luckily the staff was at this location and was able to cancel the reservation and re-do it. He was WONDERFUL...the Uhaul app is NOT wonderfulJennifer B.

I reserved a truck online earlier in the week for Saturday morning and learned Friday afternoon that the truck would not be at my city but an hour and a half away! I was suppose to drop the truck off in Indianola, but I was made to drive an extra 20 miles to Carlyle. On top of that you could not even tell me where the U-haul place was. It was only a miracle and help of a friend that I was even able to find it.david L.

No one got there until 10:30am. Our appt was at 10am.THURMAN T.
We rented a 26' truck and it was nearly impossible to get out of the gated facility as the turn around is not wide enough and there are Tow trucks that are routinely parked in the space needed to drive. This situation caused the truck to clip the storage unit and damages were not paid for by Uhaul's Insurance ........we were told to make claim on our own insurance and we are hoping we do not have to pay a deductible out of pocket since we were put in a situation in which the facility was not arranged so we could safely exit with this size truck.RITA R.
