The website says if your reservation isn't ready when you arrive, you get $50. Ours wasn't ready for 20 minutes after our reservation and we got nothing.

B A D service from pleasantville, Iowa. Reserved 15 foot truck 2 weeks before I needed it. 2 days before pick up they called and told me they only had a 10 foot for me. THE DAY OF MOVE, I was told they didn't even have to 10 foot for me. AWEFUL SERVICE IN PLEASANTVILLE IOWA. I will never use them again.

I was required to drive 20 minutes out of my way to drop off the vehicle versus driving 2 minutes away for the location I had chosen during the reserving process. I was told this was due to the chosen location hosting too many vehicles. This not only cost me time, but additional money for gas. Again, the poorest form of customer service. Uhaul -- if this is the case, please consider picking up the vehicle yourself from the customer...

Jim is the best he goes above and beyond to get you set up and in a UHaul within a few minutes I will definitely be back to this location in a few days for another UHaul

I was very i satisfied. I felt like I was forced to use my credit card when I wanted to pay cash. He charged my credit card without authorization (very illegal) and did not seem to care to listen to what I have to say.

I tried to do my reservation online but when I tried to use the U-Haul app at the destination, the app wouldn't work. Luckily the staff was at this location and was able to cancel the reservation and re-do it. He was WONDERFUL...the Uhaul app is NOT wonderful

Not this location, but the company in general was terrible. I reserved a truck online earlier in the week for Saturday morning and learned Friday afternoon that the truck would not be at my city but an hour and a half away! I would like to know ahead of time if the truck would be at my location.

Had to work hard to find the guy who was out mowing. He had trouble with the reservation and generally inattentive to us.

I was suppose to drop the truck off in Indianola, but I was made to drive an extra 20 miles to Carlyle. On top of that you could not even tell me where the U-haul place was. It was only a miracle and help of a friend that I was even able to find it.

We rented a 26' truck and it was nearly impossible to get out of the gated facility as the turn around is not wide enough and there are Tow trucks that are routinely parked in the space needed to drive. This situation caused the truck to clip the storage unit and damages were not paid for by Uhaul's Insurance ........we were told to make claim on our own insurance and we are hoping we do not have to pay a deductible out of pocket since we were put in a situation in which the facility was not arranged so we could safely exit with this size truck.

the truck was a piece of crap; I had to drive 20 miles one way out of the way to pick it up; the lady there was helpful in that she "gave" me 20 miles since I had to drive there to get it; BUT I had to pay for more gas for the rental AND my personal vehicle; what's up with that?

The representative was very nice but they didn't have any of the dollys or furniture pads I requested. The truck was poorly maintained and the only reson I took it was due to the hassle uhaul gave me while just trying to get the truck (despite me reserving it two weeks prior). The fact that uhaul expected me to drive 1.5 hrs to pick up the truck was unacceptable. They did manage to get me a truck closer to my location but I got not help from the national or regional office and I was on hold for over 1 hr only to be hung up on by a rep. Very disappointed. I'd ask for a refund but I don't think I'd be able to find anyone to help me.

i got the trailer from montgomery al, and was planning on taking it to starkville ms, instead i had a change in plans and needed to bring it to gulfport ms and a day late. i called the starkville store, the 1800 number, and the gufport store ahead of time so they would know that i was bringing it to a different location. the starkville store told to to call the 1800 number to make a change in my contract. the guy i talked to on the 1800 number said there was not much he could do about the contract. very unhelpful. so i called the gulfport store. i talked to a woman and she said she put some notes in with my contract so i would not be charged a wrong location return fee. when i brought it back, i talked with a different woman, and she had absolutely no idea what to do. no manager was availabe, and i was charged the wrong location fee anyway. i was told to come back the next day to see a manager, but i was unable to do that because i was leaving that day. out of the 10-12 times i have rented trailers from uhaul, i have never had so many problems,and next time i will use someone else.
