Requested I illegally park the truck in a handicapped zone. I refused to. In Florida it is a $500.00 fine to do so. The return location was in a bad neighborhood. The clerk, when I turned the truck in, did not inspect the vehicle for damage, check the fuel level or mileage. I asked if she wanted to inspect it and she said no. She said it me if damaged no big deal. If not damaged no big deal. I requested they inspect the truck and check the mileage and they refused.

The gentleman I checked in with was not very courteous. I asked for a receipt and he said he was too busy, but I was the only customer. I asked if I would get any refund for early turn-in or low mileage, and he brushed me off and said I would hear from the company.

It really may not be their fault (drop off location) but they told me that I could not leave the truck there because they already had 3 trucks. I had already completed my online drop off! So he gave me an address for another place around the corner. That place did not accept uhauls any longer. This place sent me to another drop off down the road further. So I dropped it off at the third place and now I was concerned because I did the online drop off for the first place and now I can’t change the drop off address!!! So after a 30 minute phone call to uhaul customer service I was able to explain this to someone and they made a note of where I left the truck. Just not a very fun way to end the long moving day. I hope you don’t have any problems with finding the truck.
