My U-haul rental that was guaranteed to be at the location I reserved never showed up. I was told that it would be there by 12:30, my reserve time was 10:30. It was not thereby 12:30 so, I called customer service and they were nice enough to find me another truck in another town not too far away. The place was closed on Saturday and Sunday, so we had to do the online check-in, which didn't go well. Tried calling to get help, the two different people I spoke with were not helpful at all. Finally receive the code to unlock the box that held the key for the truck, 2 1/2 hours after I had wanted to start my move. I am unhappy with how things went, I will probably go look for another service when moving.Daphne U.

It was only a drop off point for the key. The person was unable to provide me with a receipt or close out. They said they don't do any of that stuff that U-Haul would contact me for close out. I prefer to turn the truck in and have a persons sign off on it so I know if there is anything owing. I did not care for the end way to conduct business.James O.

Rented a car dolly to move a disable vehicle to a service/repair dealer. Uhaul had all my previous information on my tow vehicle but requested what vehicle I was going to haul. I gave exact, detailed vehicle information as to what vehicle was going to be towed. Went to pick up vehicle and found that it would not fit on dolly, stock/factory tires were too wide. What is the point of giving all requested vehicle information to Uhaul if no one knows whether vehicle will fit on the the tow dolly? Returned tow dolly and started my search for a trailer, none available. Wasted several hours today on this process, what a pain in the ass. Note to self, buy flatbed trailer, forget rentals.Jim B.
