If at all possible, steer clear of this location. I dropped off early during their open hours of operation. The person helping me had to ask someone in the back how to check me in. Whoever was in the back never came out and was just talking loudly to the person checking me in how to check me in by taking pictures and watching me unhitch the trailer. Fast forward to the next day, I checked on my Uhaul account, the trailer is not checked in even though I did it in person. I had to go back up to the drop off location, they are closed on Saturdays and Sundays which is not a problem for self check in, but I should NOT have had to do this since they supposedly took the return the day before. My advice, find a different location for rental or return. They ARE NOT helpful, don't answer the phone, and clearly do not check you in running the risk of having a late return. STAY AWAY!!
MARK BI was advised the location was open at 9am but when I arrived after that time the place was locked and 2 people outside the location had to call. The tie down ratchets were hard to loosen to remove the vehicle from the tow dolly. I felt they needed to be replaced and I told the person where I returned the equipment.
Johnny JThe truck had trash in the cab and broken glass in the back. When I picked up the truck it had a quarter of a tank of gas and the contract had 3/8 in it. Instead of dropping off the truck in Troy, AL. where I requested they sent me to Highland Home, AL. This was out of my way about 35-40 miles.
