DANIEL MAfter three hours of attempts and two failed pick ups the night before where U-Haul was unable to fulfill my online reservation or customer service provided replacement, I made a reservation to pick up in store from a person the next . I arrived for my 9 AM pick up and the store was closed. I waited five minutes to call the store‘s number. A man answered the phone and told me it would be 20 minutes before he opened because he’s the only one working. He proceeded to vacuum and set up the other side of his business, which is a car wash. I eventually got my truck at 9:30. Everything with the truck was fine. When I went to drop off the car this morning the store was open at 9 AM so that’s a positive. However, when I went to leave the store the same man from the day before rudely told me I needed to communicate better for my next reservation. The reservation was made online. There was no communication. It went through the U-Haul fulfillment center. If this location does not want to fulfill their online orders, they probably should not be a U-Haul location. However, it does seem that fulfilling reservations made online is an overall U-Haul problem. Moving is already stressful enough. U-Haul locations should strive to be the easy part.

Jamey VThere was no clear signs or instructions as to where to park the trailer. We dropped it in front near a UHAUL truck where we assumed it went. After unhitching it, a worker came out and told us it needed to go around back and had us rehitch and pull it around back. Once around back, we parked it in line with other trailers. Another worker came out and said he didn't want it there he had wanted it at the other end of the property. We informed him we had now moved it twice and no one clarified where to drop it. He told us to leave it as is.
Alicia SFound absolutely no help upon my arrival. I walked around and waited at the desk for an employee to appear but no one ever came. I ended up going outside to reserve online because the building had such a strong smell of Marijuana (which is illegal in this state) that I couldn't stand being inside any longer. When I returned the truck a couple hours later, the smell wasn't near as strong as before, however, I still couldn't find anyone to assist me with returning the rental.

DANNY DI had a 1pm pick up through the mobile app. Went to get the truck but the business had a sign On Lunch Until 1:30. Not a big deal until at 1:30 no one came. After calling Uhaul and getting the code for the lock box the keys were never put in it. After 50 mins on the phone and a total of 2 hours of my time wasted I still was unable to get the truck. I took off work to move this day and was unable to do so. Still waiting on my refund and feel like I should also get the $50 promise for the truck being available.
Matthew WThe truck had no ac and it was 100 degrees. I ordered a utility dolly and was told that all they had was an appliance dolly, which was useless for my needs.

CONSYLETHIA FI showed up at my scheduled pick up time when there were 2 employees and no customers. They told me to come back in 15 minutes and were very rude. I came back in 15 minutes and they were washing cars and didn’t want to help me. I had a 9am pickup but didn’t leave until almost 10am.

Chris RThe tires were essentially flat. Once i loaded one of the tires had 10-15 lbs the rest were below 20. If i had not checked, i would have been sitting on the side of the highway on new years eve.

Tanjala DI would not recommend this location (Dothan, AL on Montgomery Hwy) as long as the current employees are there. We had some problems with them when we tried to return our rental. This occurred on Sunday, September 10, at approximately 4:30 PM CST. When we arrived to drop off our 20’ rental truck, we were told it was at the wrong location, even though this is the location on our contract. We were asked to drive the vehicle to a location that was not on our contract. We thought this was incorrect, but the employee was insistent. We drove the vehicle to the location as instructed. The place was closed. The key drop box was wide open with the lock hanging open. We called the original drop locations and told them we would bring the truck back to them per the contract. When we arrived, there was a second worker outside, in a running pick-up truck talking to the first female employee. This new employee said she was not the manager. She was snooty and disrespectful. She said that "he" tried to get in touch with us to tell us the drop location had changed, implying we had done some terrible thing by not receiving his messages. Apparently, she was on the phone with the "he" she referred to because she told him something to the nature of "Dude, lock your box". Then both of the female employees gaslighted us by acting like we had no reason to be concerned. They could not give us any form of receipt to say that we had dropped the vehicle off. They said it was not in their system, even though we showed them our printed contract. They did allow us to give them the set of keys. To us, it seemed that they were using us to do their job of shuffling vehicles around the city. They had a friend who ran the other location and he needed the van over there. Moving vehicles around should be the job of UHaul, not the customers. At the end, these women said that “he” would come over in the morning and retrieve the vehicle. That is more like it.

BRYAN HThe only issue I had was general touch did not have Internet access. I was able to get the rental, but I had to give them all my information to another location to be able to rent a vehicle.
Guy HArea road and site construction does no make the area "clean and inviting", but thats not the owners fault.
John MSmall and hard to drive a large truck into; no one manning the office to assist me; no way to no for sure if I had done everything correctly before leaving. Also, the app kept crashing so I couldn't finish the drop off section. I finally called the uhaul # to finalize the drop off.
