The employees were not trained to handle the drop off of the vehicle. The business office/store and the storage rooms were very dirty and smelled as if nothing had been cleaned in a hundred years.

CHARLES ETruck only got 7.2 mpg and had to spend over $150 for gas on a trip where my personal truck used less than 1/4 of a tank of gas. I had to stop twice to fill up U Haul. Then had to pay another $2 fee that no one could explain when turning in truck.

Shirley CMake sure the equipment is clean and working.The tow dolly latches that goes around the car tires wouldn’t release to go around the car tire so l had to drive my vehicle.The latches was rusted and would not release.That was frustrating and disappointing.I went 45 minutes to rent the tow dolly and it didn’t work.Check your equipment and make sure it is working properly before renting it out.

Bennie DWe had to insist that they come out and verify that everything had been returned. Just looked at the items returned and did not count the blankets to insure we had returned all 12. We needed acknowledgment from them that everything was there so they could not say later that it wasn't.

I'm very upset with the UHUAL system Rep I spoke with :(

MICKEY T1. Selected pickup location changed. 2. I tried to change the drop place but I couldn't change. 3. Ordered moving blanket was used one. 4. Ordered trolly was wrong.
PANGI KThe process was not fast or fast or efficient… There was no direction on what we should’ve done or what to do the attendant seemed to be a little confused that we were dropping something off. Perhaps, there should be a better advisory on their end on us coming. It seemed that the U-Haul business was an afterthought to their main business

JOHN FThe gentleman at this location is the best thing that happened for Uhaul. He was most helpful. Prior to his assistance, I would have given you a big ZERO! Our original location and pick up time for 8am was not honored. Uhaul couldn't find a truck within 200 miles, which is odd because we were confirmed for pick up. Hindsight, we would have just brought our trailer and made 2 trips, that way we would have at least not wasted 10 hours of time for people who had worked 12 hour shifts and drove 2 hours to help move. Get and Go was a lifesaver. Uhaul, not so much!

Remer LOnly recommendation is to have wheel chokes to park trailer tires against, lot has a gentle slope and trailer rolled a few feet once unhooked.
Gregory HAfter point bank asking about the return of the deposit fee, was told by this representative it would be returned if equipment is returned on time and undamaged. I upheld my end of that agreement but still did not receive the deposit fee upon turning equipment in.

Colleen MPick up and return process was an absolute nightmare. Employee seemed to have very little knowledge and training on the Uhaul process and system. Tried multiple times to change my confirmed rate. I won't ever rent from this location again.

angela lThere seemed to be issues with the rental program when I was picking up and returning the truck and other items. Also I was told it was only $39.95 flat fee for 10 hour rental and no mileage would be added. The people I worked with were very nice and as frustrated as I was with the computer program. So when advertised as flat day rate then adding mileage doesn't seem right. I would recommend this site for rental but I think more training needs to be done with all who work there.

VANESSA DCancel this location's dealership as a U-Haul location. Very poor English. This location is a convenience store in rural Alabama with staff geared to selling pop/beer and not servicing a U-Haul customer. Plus, the customer service (counter guy) spoke very poor English and was unable to properly process my return with the slight change to the contract that was seen by both the U-Haul rep on the 800 line as well as the CS rep I was transferred to. No help at all.
Douglas CUhaul's computer system was delayed inputting returns info, at least I didn't have to wait around again. Uhaul's computer system is VERY POOR......

Phillip HOne person working this convenience store. He did not speak very good English. He ignored me when I first walked to the counter, then took his time helping me. He was more focused on convenience store customers buying gas and beer than me. He would just walk away from me to check out someone else buying something. He did not understand the on-line process - I had to interpret for him. Took me about 30 minutes to check out. Then I had to go back to get the dozen pads I reserved. Inside of the cab was dirty and had ants crawling around.
Randall Hcould barely speak English...we had to go way out of our way b/c the equipment wasn't available where we had reserved it even though I confirmed it the day before. We were at my son's college graduation and I got the call. It was VERY frustrating. Then the guy was trying to upsell us on everything. We paid for a dolly we didn't get.
Julie WNo guy barely spoke English he did not know how to work the computer system I had to guid him through it and then I had to take a picture of his computer screen so I knew where to drop the trailer of in West Palm Brach FL as he had now way to print it for me and I was the only customer he was having to deal with and it still took a hour to just get a trailer
James Lthey do not need to be a uhaul location. I had to help the owner fill in information on his laptop. My daughter and I had to show him how to print invoice. His card reader kept saying my card was invalid. He did not go outside to look at truck with us. The gas that was in the truck was a fourth of tank when we got in truck, but upon returning truck he said it was a half tank of gas. but it wasn't. I ask for a Dolly at least 3 times and was told it was in truck BUT it was NOT. The store owner said I didn't charge you for dolly but I requested one that I was willingly to pay for. My daughter and I did all information on the computer our self and told him how to print the invoice. He did not come out the store to pull truck out for us nor did he check the truck or go over invoice. He said just say a number for mileage, he did not say I needed to give more precise mileage estimate that it would vary my rate. I explained to him what we were doing and where we were taking furniture. I feel this does not need to be a rental location for uhaul because this man does not give the quality of service that this company represents.

Jeffrey GThe person working behind the counter did not speak English very well. Normally, this would not bother me, but he did not seem to have any interest in trying to make me understand him. I was not given any paperwork when I left, and nothing to say that I had returned the truck in good condition, with the proper amount of gas, moving pads, and the handtruck.

Gregory BWhere to start. I made a reservation to be picked-up on College Ave in Auburn, AL. My son goes to pick up the trailer and is told he is at the wrong location. The people at the College Ave made an effort to help and sent him to a location in Opelika, AL. At this location, they were not helpful and rudely told him the trailer was in Salem, AL (30 min drive one way). At this point, I discovered that an e-mail had been sent to me that morning. However, since I was flying, I did not receive this until about the time my son arrived at the Auburn location. I think it is terrible that you allow reservations at a specific location and then send them on a wild goose chase involving an hour round trip. This is the second time this has happened to me and it's unacceptable. If the item I need is not going to be available at the location I chose... then say so! At least then I can plan accordingly. Plus, the service was terrible except at the Auburn location.

CARLA PBack woods drop of area in a VERY rural area. I am extremely familiar with dealing with clients of all nationalities and various accents...this clerk was incomprehensible. No receipt was given, no confirmation of drop off was provided. I'm not sure he even understood what I was requesting.
