When I first came to the site, there was no signage for the front desk (it was simply a gas station clerk). I went to other address on the email in person, and the employee told me to go back to the location even though he said he doesn't know if anyone is there. I was disappointed to do extra travel, ultimately becauase the location I was sent to had every appearance to be a remote pick-up location when I selected an in-person experience on the online reservation.

When I returned the equipment only 1 contract was closed leaving the other open and leaving me with an almost $500 charge. After reaching out to both the Location I rented from and U-haul customer support I have still not been able to get this resolved after almost 2 months. This has been a huge headache and I just want the false charge to be refunded and it seems to be an impossible task as calling the U-Haul customer support line 7 times and the specific location 3 times has not been enough to resolve this issue. I am not one to leave reviews but this headhache has pushed me over the limit as it is clearly impossible for me to have rented the exact same truck twice at the exact same time.

Cody HThe owner of this store was terrible. First off, his store is is disgusting, the gal working has to call the owner in order for us to do our rental. It took him 30 mins to call back because he would not answer his phone. Then we had to do the whole transaction over speaker phone with customers listening in on everything including having to give our personal information to him. This was not the original place I rented from, but the place UHaul sent us to. We rented an appliance dolly which he didn't have. He started getting frustrated with us because he was sending some type of link to my cell phone that kept saying error 4 different times. And he did helieve me when I'm telling him it says error and the gal working there finally had to also tell him it says error. He started saying I was being uncooperative and was not going to let me rent the truck. My husband finally had to say something after 10 to 15 minutes of this crap. Tryck only had a quarter tank of gas. I called UHaul about this once we left, spoke to 3 different people and they were going to have management call me back within 3 days, its now 7 days and nothing. Just an all around experience with the pick up portion of our rental. We need to rent another 2 trucks within the next month and a half, I'm going to look for a different company. We've never had any issues with UHaul in the past.

Jeff HApp was not working during truck return and it was unable to locate my location while I was parked at the return location. After numerous attempts the app instructed me to park, and lock the truck in the parking and drop the key in the drop box instead. The next day uhaul tried to take $185 without permission from my account allegedly because the truck was returned late. The rental was returned earlier than due. Check the store cameras. The proof is there.

RANDAL SWhen I arrived to pick up my U-Haul rental, the representative was not there. The clerk at the front desk for the gas station at this location had to call the representative and hand me her personal cell phone to talk to him and complete my rental. After that confirmation the U-Haul had equipment in it from the prior use that the representative asked me to take out before I took the rental. It was all very unprofessional and by the time I actually got my rental, it had been an hour past my reservation time. I was extremely disappointed by the whole experience and I will not be renting a U-Haul from this location again.

Margaret FVery difficult to find location as it is in a convenient store with only an orange Uhual box by the door with no other signage. The Uhual truck provided (TT3130) was in the worst condition of any truck I have rented. There were dents and scratches over the entire exterior and the interior was well worn. It wobbled on the highway and made clicking sounds at stop lights. But the worse part was being charged for “missing” furniture pads. I was only given 10 furniture pads (5 were still in unopened bag) but I was charged $20 for two missing pads because there was supposed to be a dozen. I will be doing a chargeback on my credit card for the $20 that was unjustly charged.

Jason VI was told he would take care of the storage unit that was rented online by accident. They didn't have blankets available. I was charged for the blankets and $40.00 plus another $10 for gas although we filled it back to the quarter tank mark. When we dropped it off, they only took the key and did not even want to look at vehicle. I paid for a 24 hour rental but returned it after 7 hours.

Blair UThe U-Haul barely had any gas in it (just above empty), so I had to fill up before being able to use it. Then I was charged an extra $15 for gas after returning it with more gas than it had at pickup (and told that they couldn’t do anything about the charge even though I provided photo evidence of the lack of fuel). Then I was charged the difference in the hold on my cc and the total end amount even after I was already charged the full amount (I’m still waiting on the charge to drop or I’ll have to dispute it with my bank). Overall this location was very unhelpful and tacked on additional fraudulent charges.

Vanessa VVehicle was dirty in the bay of the truck. Windshield was not clear which would be expected during the winter, but no washer fluid was present in the truck. Might be fine for a longer trip, but this was in town and quick so no time to purchase myself. Bay of the truck was not swept and dirty from previous use, so I had to rest my newly purchased sectional in this dirt when we fit both pieces on their sides. It was late at this location, so maybe there was not enough time to address this, but once again for such a short, coordinated trip I did not have time to grab a broom or vacuum to handle this dirt.
Ryan MThis location was poorly managed. Dirty and unorganized. Owner was not present but communicating over an employee personal phone. Could not understand him and was disconnected many times. Was billed for 29.1 miles when in fact it was only 21.7 miles. Had to go to another location to pick up boxes. Was not told this when scheduling so that added to milage. This whole experience was mismanaged and disorganized. Would like to speak with a corporate representative. Will be contacting BBB and bank to dispute the charge. Will not be using U-Haul in the future unless something is done to make this experience right.

Sevina PWhile we understand this location is a “self-return” location, this is a terrible process! No one to direct you where to go, no one to direct you where to put the keys, then some strange man comes up to my husband asking to take the keys from my husband (naturally we didn’t since we had ZERO idea who this man was!). No identification or badge indicating he was a representative of Uhaul! This was a very stressful situation after traveling over 1700 exhausting miles cross country over three days time. Not a good experience.

Andres MBrakes were going out on truck, it squealed whenever you touched the brakes. Owner of establishment was 30 minutes late to open. He also told us the truck had 3/4 tank of gas and it was empty! Poor representation of Uhaul!!!
Dale TThe gentleman that helped us was nice and informed us of things to check on when returning the truck. He talked very soft so it was hard to understand him at times. He showed us scratches that were on the outside of the truck and showed us the line on the gas gauge so we would know how much gas to put in when we returned it. He didn’t explain how everything worked in the truck, so luckily my husband figured it out.

Rodolfo SThe pickup location is in a rundown minimart that does not feel safe. The vendor interrupted registering and completing my reservation several times to help customers buying cigarettes, chips, and soda. When I checked my receipt after I returned my rental I saw I had been charged for the Safemove coverage. I did not apply this coverage when I made my reservation. I confronted the vendor about the extra charge and he said that once the transaction is complete there's nothing he can do. He also said that the reservations have that service automatically checked and when he's busy sometimes he misses it. He implied that it was my responsibility to tell him to take the service off, even though I didn't include it on my reservation. I don't think it was an honest mistake. I think the owner of a clearly struggling minimart found a way to squeeze out a few extra bucks by slipping extra charges on his uhaul side-hustle and hoping people don't notice or don't want to bother with the hassle of fighting it. If you can possibly avoid this location, do. If you can't, insist on reviewing the contract with the vendor after he registers you. Don't trust this guy.

I pre-ordered 1 dozen blankets and none were provided; resulting in me driving an additional 20 miles to get some, and no mileage compensation was provided. In addition, the rep tried charging me $1.09/mile vs $0.79/mile on my reservation, and pressured me to try to buy insurance I didn’t need.
