I texted UHal and asked to extend rental and they said yes but when I got to the location they said no. I also purchased furniture pads when setting up the rental and the location didn't have them and still charged me! Lastly I was at location to pick up my rental and getting through the line took 30 minutes! Now I have to rent another truck tomorrow!
VIVIAN AI had a great experience at this location. There was an easy pick up process and drop off was easier. I’ve had bad experiences with other various U-Haul locations, but this location impressed me. Employees were very nice and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend this location.

Sandra Vcheck engine light was on vehicle. was verbally stated first 5 miles are FREE but got billed for full 9 miles. vehicle was returned with more gas than at pickup but still got billed for 2 gallons. was not given final receipt at dropoff time but after reviewing emailed receipt i noticed these discrepancies. these are small billed payments but still incorrect and deceiving.
ETHAN MI was over charged an extra 15 $ Also was charged for gas even returning the truck with the same level of fuel after added what i used. When callwd for explanation the agent told me to call uhaul and complain
ALI HI was driving on a tire that had low air. This icon popped up the moment I turned on the engine. Overall, I was disappointed.

ANTHONY FCustomer service at this location is excellent, the vehicle itself, not so much. The rear shocks in the truck require immediate replacement (replacing fronts wouldn't hurt) as any little bump would cause the steering wheel to jerk to the point of losing control of the vehicle. If over 55 mph, any small bump could be your last unless you had a constant two handed death grip on the wheel to maintain the control. The steering was also loose, sloppy, and the vehicle requires an alignment as it pulled hard to the left. The steering problems were made worse when hauling a load of cargo.
JOHN WMy original booking for the U-Haul was for a differnet location and it was changed by U-haul 3 times to different locations. When i arrived at the location to pick up the U-Haul the manager was out in the vehicle picking up some furniture for himself. I was also told when i arrived that the furniture dolly that i ordered was not available at this given location.
Graeme MI was charged for 8 days of use after I returned the vehicle on the same day I picked it up. I dropped it off after hours at 7pm and followed the instructions given by the location (parked the truck where I picked it up and put the keys inside the gas cover). The truck was stolen and I was charged for the time it took to find the truck (one week later), charged for 10 days of the safe move add-on and a $100 cleaning fee.
Kellan LYou moved my pick up location twice- then I called saying the location closes at 2:30 and my pick up time was 3pm . Good thing I left early. Then I get my truck and No furniture dolly, No dolly and No blankets. Major inconvenience.!

CESAR PVehicle was dirty, but functional. Some minor external damage. Did not have a full tank of gas which makes fueling a pain and inconvenient. Pick up process was smooth and drop off was excellent.
Timothy KThe van was generally dirty but I was impressed with the van itself. Extremely inconvenient that this location that I was forced to use due to availability does not have a key drop off as other locations do so now I have to take more time out of my day/work day to return keys because of this. The location was also harder to find because it has a lot of different things going on in the store like FedEx, USPS, etc. and it was hard to find because the U-Haul sign was so small. Staff were nice though.

Rafael AI was charged for CDW I did not order, and which was never stated when I was given the estimate prior to picking up vehicle. The rep stated the quote includes rental, mileage and taxes. He did not say the order includes any fee for insurance or CDW.
Eric HTruck was dirty, dolly was not in the truck. I had to wait till 9am when Goin Postal opened, but still could not get the dolly I ordered. I was late meeting the movers and was charged because of this. When I returned the truck I couldn't take a picture of miles on webpage. There wasn't a drop box to leave the key like webpage instructed. I don't think I will use uhaul again because of this experience.

Abrah KI used cell pick up and it was essentially useless. I still had to go in and get the keys from the rep. The entire Uhaul was absolutely disgusting in the inside. There was dog hair and crumbs everywhere. I tried wiping my hand across the seat and cut myself. My dog hair allergies were so bad my boyfriend had to clean the Uhaul halfway during our trip. Then the return was almost a nightmare. We went to do the drop off. The location was sketchy at night in the back with no lights and a man holding a knife was staring us down. Luckily, when I brought my phone out to take a photo he took off. We then had to go through a long process to return it only to find out there was no overnight key slot drop. We did our best and locked the keys in the Uhaul. It was honestly a horrific experience. I was also charged extra for additional miles even though it never asked me to enter the mileage at pickup. I just feel like the experience really turned me off of U-Haul. I’ve used this company for years and many moves and never had an experience like this.

Oday HThe back of the UHaul was dirty. I even saw a used bandaid in there. When the truck was picked up it hardly had any gas in it so we had to fill it right away. I chose a $40 truck and was charged three times that amount by the end. I haven't contacted them about that yet, I don't know if it's too late by this point, b/c it's been such a crazy week but I am NOT happy about anything regarding this truck rental.

steve lYou really need to check the practices of your authorized dealers. I rented the truck for only 4 hours and drove about 15 miles. 3 round trips from 2123 Baltic Stream SA, TX 78251 to 10018 Ingram Rd, SA, TX 78245 (14.4 miles total). The location I picked it up and returned from is within a mile as well. My total charge should have been between $35-$40. Instead, I was charged for driving over 100 miles, which was simply NOT TRUE. The vehicle had been delivered to Going Postal on Potranco Rd. (San Antonio, TX), by the previous renter, who LIED about the mileage, when they returned it at 3am and checked out online. I, as the next customer, did not know I was the one to be responsible for taking a picture of the mileage I received it at. That should have been the job of the authorized dealer to verify. After further escalation, nothing was resolved, and I was blamed and charged over $100 what I should have paid. This has been a huge imposition, as moving is already expensive as it is. Never again will I rent or recommend UHAUL to anyone. For what I paid, it would have been comparable to paying a moving company to do it all for me. I also never received a call back since Nov 11th, and yesterday (11/28), I get the bill that was charged to my card. This situation has seriously upset and stressed me out. NEVER AGAIN! Gloria ZNothing to do with the location, which was great: Had a ton of trouble checking in before hours with the app (on iPhone 8). I was stuck in a loop that kept asking for username/password, then thumbprint every time I tried to open the reservation. Ended up having to use my girlfriend’s phone (iPhone 11) or else I would have had to wait two hours until the store opened.

FERNANDO OThe employees in the actual store were very profession, I have no complaints there. The Uhaul truck was not completely full when I drove it off the parking lot and the tire pressure sensor stated that one of the tires was low and needed air. When I told the employee about the tire reading she stated that they already got it fixed and to just ignore the warning. The A/C kept cutting in and out and I eventually had to buy a small fan to keep in the cabin with me. The temp was over 100° so the trip was at times pretty miserable. Also, the driver’s seat did not move forward and back very well. I had to use a good amount of force just to get it to slide back enough to where I could fit my legs beneath the driving console. If I hadn’t been pressed for time I would’ve declined the truck and rented somewhere else. I’ve driven Uhaul trucks before and I’ve never had these issues. It just seemed like the truck was very outdated and needed some work on it to get it back up to the standards of Uhaul. It’s not a good representation of the company, and not very safe for the drivers/passengers. Coincidentally, I drove by another 10’ uhaul truck on the side of the interstate with roadside assistance changing a tire.

Reese WHonestly, U-Haul respects their customers time! I reserved my moving truck online and when I showed up to pick it up, it was waiting for me in front ready to go. The gentleman at the counter had everything ready for me. Really, I must have spent 5 to 8 minutes.

JUANITA LPlease verify fuel replacement properly, even though it was checked in incorrectly, meaning I replaced the fuel actually above where is at when I picked up the truck. I called this location to report the discrepancy, they refunded the fuel charge with no hassle, thank you for your excellent service. vincent cFriendly and helpful staff. Clean facility. The only reason this is not a five star is due to being in a strip mall making access to vehicles navigating via fast food drive thru somewhat tricky..
William BOnce I got past the 15 min wait line, the process was fast. Returning was another 15+minute wait as well. Only reason for a 4 star. If wait wasn’t too long I would have rated a 5 star.
Marco MI am just received a receipt for a vehicle I never used because the office fail to open on time. I had reservations at 0900 hours this morning. I went to the location but the office was closed. I was then forced to supply facial picture and driver license and a contact to call. After this, I was informed that the office was supposed to be opened at 090p hours and there is no one to issue me the key by some online contact. After waiting an hour,I told the contact to cancel my reservation and I would go somewhere else. I just received a received for a fraudulent charge on my card for vehicle I never used. This is unacceptable and I expect to be refunded immediately.

delmonti rThe van smelled really bad when we got it. It was also clear someone smoked in it while using it, based on the smell and cigar package left in the van. I had to personally spend time disinfecting the van, and buy air fresheners to help with the bad smell because it was that unbearable.
Charina CBeing charged double to bring a vehicle back to the place I got it from sucked, since it was a courtesy, rather than leaving it in the location I drove to.
MARK RPay more attention to detail. I dropped rental off on a Monday. They reported my rental was dropped off on a Wednesday and tried to charge me extra. I went back in person, tried to clarify and explain the vehicle was dropped off Monday. They still were adamant it was dropped off Wednesday and I was lying. After asking them to pull the videos from Monday they finally and clarifying it was dropped off Monday, they agreed to reimbursed me for the extra days charged. However, I was still charged a cleaning fee even after I cleaned out the truck myself.

BENITO GThe service was excellent. Monica was friendly and knowledgeable and answered all my questions. When I got to the truck the seat was dirty and there was trash on the dashboard console. Other than that everything was great. I would recommend this location and come here again.
BRANDON AThe service at this location was excellent. I wanted to rent a truck, either 15' or 10'. But I had not made a reservation. They had both sizes available...I opted for the 15'. The only issue was that they had no utility dollies, but the agent (a very nice lady) contacted the nearest U-Haul facility and reserved me one. Very pleased with the total service experience.
