Very good experience
Kira SThe U-Haul truck we received was leaking water from the ceiling. When we went back in to tell them owners they told us to just drive it around the block to see if it would keep leaking instead of resolving the issue.

Rubin MThe location on Roosevelt and Central Park is not ready or trained enough to be apart of such a large company. The people that run the business at Central Park and Roosevelt are committing odometer fraud. I will never use them again. Poor representation of U-Haul.
Michael RI was charged for 10miles plus the truck rental 19.95 I went 3miles over I’m which I should be getting charged 30 some dollars outta my 100.00 hold I got cheated tank was on half like I got it and I brought the truck back before the time I was supposed to.

Sabrina BThis was a parking lot drop off location. The gentleman who ran it had no idea how to back up a trailer, so we ended up having to just drop it in the middle of his parking lot. I felt badly for him since he appeared out of his element, although a very nice may. Also, it was NOT clear that the location was. UHaul drop off, as it was a church parking lot. Why would I give my money to a company again who clearly cares so little about the customer experience and can't be bothered to do anything other than send useless videos instead of actual staff?
Court SMr Marshall is the best. If you come to his facility and you’re not having a good day. He makes sure leave with a smile on your face. He’ a cool and funny gentleman. Thanks again

KENNETH HIf possible, maybe you could inform customers that dolly's and tarps are or aren't supplied, I had some very valuable items that needed to be covered, and possibly some straps to secure item from shifting around during transport.

Mildred DI submitted a formal complaint. There was food and crumbs everywhere. There was a used bandaid w blood in the door pocket. It was disgusting and the worst uhaul experience I’ve ever had. The app glitched on both pick up and drop off, had to call the mainline and wait 45 minutes.

Latrice EI dropped off the equipment before 11am and they could not provide me any receipt or proof that I had returned the equipment. I had to record them receiving the equipment. Then that same evening around 7pm I received a call from UHAUL asking when would I be returning the equipment. I responded I had returned it earlier in the day and I wanted a receipt.

Boris RPeople were supposed to be there until five and no one was there. Cellphone reception is non-existent and it took us a half hour to get through the return process because the pages wouldn’t load. Another person showed up and we had to help him figure out how to use his phone because he relied on someone being there and couldn’t figure out how to pickup his truck.
Sarah MCheck in process is not efficient. Took me 40 mins to checkout the vehicle because the app glitched causing me to be late to my move out. Customer service kept me on hold for 30 minutes while I waited in the parking lot trying to get my vehicle.
Ryan LIt was really confusing how to get help. The door was locked and there was not a sign about how to connect with someone. Then when. Someone came out I had no indication this person was with uhaul, and they did not self identify. So it felt a bit nerve-wracking that I was in the right place and talking to the right people especially when I had to go to a back room in the building after having down the online registration. All I needed was the keys. But, they were courteous and I did get my equipment which worked well.
Tobey WI had an awful pick up experience. I ordered the Uhaul from another location in Chicago and was never notified that my pick up location had changed. After arriving at my original location, I was told to go here. It was 20 minutes out of the way and forced me to miss half of my move out window. At this location, We entered an old church and were directed to a back room to talk with someone. It was very questionable and frankly I was worried it was a scam. The uhal was provided with a half tank of gas, less blankets than ordered, and the bed was covered in leaves. When leaving the guy renting it even said “I hope you have a broom bc there is some dirt back there”. In addition, there was nothing at the location except the Uhaul, so I couldn’t buy bed covers, boxes, etc that I was planning to purchase and happily pay for. I am very disappointed in this experience and will look at other moving rental companies when I move again in early January.

Lucinda SVery disappointed in UHaul. I paid the tolls via Illinois toll system the day after the rental. UHaul sent me a message a week ago informing me of the extra payment and I responded to UHaul explaining that I had paid. I received no response and no acknowledgement of the issue. The only thing you did was to ignore it and charge me extra. Very disappointed.
