Fix the driver side window knob. Wasn't noticed until after pick up. The round roller piece on the end kept popping off. Not good if needing to roll window down or up on the road. The cab and box could have been wiped down/swept a bit before. Overall good.Benjamine M.

My experience with Uhaul was one of the worst customer interactions I have ever had. I thought I had a truck reserved only to find out I had reserved a call to tell me they didn't I sat on hold for hours to talk to some one, only to have them be incredibly rude. Truck was dirty and had a ton of leaves and debris in it. Wasn't full so when I filled up, I paid way more than what I actually used. Was told it was my fault because I didn't watch the fill line. Not impressed. Never again. Ill wait for the trucks at other locations to be available next time.Alexandra C.
The person behind the counter was in my opinion rude! When I walked in she was busy on her phone when I asked what to do with the return I was told put it in the back and she went back to her conversation on the phone. They could do a way better job at clearing the snow. I had a hard time finding a place in the back (as she called it ) to put the equipment.ANDREW G.

I had entered the location promptly at 10am to receive the uhaul vehicle for use for eight hours, as described by request made the night before. The worker at this location who was issuing the rental had quickly dismissed my request for assistance in favor of joking with the customer in front of me. I had then not been acknowledged for around 30 minutes. I finally left the building with the keys to my vehicle at 10:40am, and the vehicle was unprepared at the other end of the lot. After use, I returned the vehicle at 6:20. I was charged with an after-hours late fee of $20. I believe if the worker at this location had correctly prepared my vehicle and handled our vehicle pickups in a reasonable amount of time, I would have not been issued a $20 after-hours late fee. I would like to receive this $20 back, and would like to issue a complaint for this location. I had rented a uhaul the weekend prior from a different location, and the workers there were much more punctual.Jacob H.
Fees were not explained. No walk through done. Gas was not at half as was told. Was not told to check email or text to review and I don't use phone as often. Very unhappy with extra 20 charge along with having to fill up tank 5 gals just to go 18 miles. Very disappointed in this process. Firstly, we did not request this location. UHaul changed our previous location to this one and did not notify us until the day before. This location was an hour out of the way for us and UHaul made no effort to remedy the situation which was incredibly frustrating. After getting to the location, because there was only one staff member and they were away from their desk, the front door to the office was locked, creating additional frustration and worry from us as last time we used UHaul, the truck we requested was not signed in and we were directed to a different location after showing up at the first. The employee was then outwardly mad at us for our frustration and made no effort to calm us down, nor apologize, empathize, or remedy the situation for us. This is most likely the last time we use UHaul.GARRETT W.
I paid for roadside emergency assistance....I locked the keys in the truck....was jerked around by your online assistance service.... nobody ever showed up so I called AAA. Be nice if you just had one number to call for help..... like AAA.Kenneth J.
Customer Service was extremely substandard. Truck was at 5/8 full when recd, told clerk who said she made a notation. Drove total of 20 miles put two gallons, was charged for six gallons of gas $21.00, $3.50 a gallon. Returned truck at 2:10, no clerk available, came back at 3:00 still no clerk available. Left key in return box. Clerk gave wrong code for gate, teach them the difference between a * and #. I will never work with this location again.kent V.

Instructions weren't clear as how to get thru the entrance gate to get into the office. I stood there for about 5 min before the guy inside opened the gate. Seems like a bad system.Wendy G.
One strap broke during the trip, the other was badly frayed. One ratchet was very difficult to release due to corrosion. I was promised a phone call telling me which location to pick it up - it never came. Towing vehicle and dropoff point were both different from what I entered online.Robert M.

I rented to pick up in bloomington because they were open until 5. I was notified to pick up in Lakeville and it was closed when I got there. The woman who worked there was leaving. She was rude and told me to use the app. I went to the app and it did not allow me to pick up. I was on hold for 30 minutes and the agent was unable to help me and told me equipment was unavailable. He transfers me to 24 hour and she was able to get app to allow me to check in. It took me 2.5 hours for the entire ordeal. I got home and the 60 Blankets I ordered where not in there. I had to go to two more location to get them and made it 5 with minutes to a spare. I had movers coming first thing the next morning and this entire experience caused me considerable stress. The pick up experience was a nightmare, which I've already complained about, but now I'm get charged an additional $79 for additional days ???? I had it back in 23 hours and was charged to 20$ after hours fee , which in itself is ridiculous but that's fine, I don't have an issue with that, but another 79$$$ for what ???JOHN G.

When we Did get someone online they weren't able to help us as our location was not showing up...the person on the phone was not able to help .. we were transferred twice..as our location was not showing up if we had known that we had to go to Safari to turn on our location or share location there ....that would've helped our location was on but not for our Internet browser took us a long time to figure that out!!!Lucinda M.
Sign on door AND Uhaul both said open until 4pm. Was there at 3:30pm to drop off truck. No one to be found and front/office door locked. Gate Code given in text did not work. Could not get in gate. Very disappointed with overall experience. Would not recommed!!Christianne G.

The individual left the sign on the office as open and left. I did a 4 hour rental and had to wait 20 minutes for the individual to return. There was no apology for the inconvenience, just laughter from the employee. The individual also did not adjust the time so by time I got done and left, I was left with just over 3 hours. The equipment was fine but the customer service was less than adequate and the facilities were not very clean, especially during our current pandemic.Joel I.

The agent was incredibly rude and did not help with hookup. Despite completing online checkin she insisted on taking my license (pictures were already uploaded. So now with COVID, we had to touch common items. She asked me the same questions I answered during online checkin. No time was saved and had to be in office despite the online checkin process. S links on trailer were too tight for standard class three receiver. Required force at hookup. No assistance from agent, she stayed in the office. Trailer was not ready, was wedged in a tight corner of yard, required excessive maneuvering of tow vehicle upon hookup. Several used and filthy cardboard boxes left in trailer from previous user.Chad T.

There isn't anyone to assist on weekends so why is this location an option if you have to pay $20 after hours fee. We have never had this fee before. We will never use this location again. We could have easily gone to another location that had staffed personnel. This fee should have been more clearly articulated when we checked out the truck. I'm very disappointed.Dan S.

I've rented trucks from U-Haul many times, but this is the first time I've rented using the mobile app. I will not use the mobile app ever again, nor will I recommend it to anyone. It's a hassle and I had a few issues with it (which were mostly my fault), but all the requirements and info the app needed were too much for me to want to use it again. If it hadn't been for the assistance of Josh I would have never gotten going. He was amazing and really helped me. Same kudos to the Apple Valley U-Haul rental site. Those guys were also amazing!! As for the location I rented from, it wasn't really kept up. The front screen door wasn't latched and would swing open with the wind. Check out the U-Haul rental site in Faribault, MN. It is a good example of what one should look like. Very clean, nice new building and the staff are awesome.thomas B.

I originally scheduled a pickup at Bloomington and was informed there is an available truck at the scheduled time. The day before my pickup I was informed my truck will not be available and was directed to pickup elsewhere. Ok no problem, that happens all the time. I rescheduled pickup at Lakeville. Staff showed up on time but did not exit their vehicle until 10 minutes later after a smoke. When I checked in, I was told to my truck is down the lot at the corner and the key should be in it. I found this odd. I have rented uhaul trucks before and staff will drive the truck up to front entrance and go over a few satefy tips. Instead I walked down the lot looking for the truck. When I found the truck, I could not find the key. I went back to the office and they came down with me to look at the truck. Turns out they hid the key in a small compartment inside the truck. Drove the truck home and when I opened the rear door, the dolly and blankets were not zip-tied inside the truck. This is an extra charge if you use these items. I had to call and inform the staff. The service I received from Lakeville was incredibly poor compared to all my previous uhaul rental locations. I do not recommend this location.Mongzong V.

She did not have the patience required to show good customer service in my eyes. Sorry I don't have her name. When I opened the U-Haul app to do my return, it still listed the original (Gopher Mini & Outdoor Storage) location, so I returned it there. We were given a code to get into the storage unit facility but the code did not work. There was no one in the office for another 2 hours so we followed someone in to get the uhaul we reserved. You use the same code to get out which of course didn't work again so we had to wait until someone was leaving to get out. We didn't really like the app as well, the process was long, if we had dealt with people we wouldn't have had the issues we had.Sarah D.
