I have never been treated by a person or a business the way I was treated by the worker at this U-Haul location (wouldn't give his name). I have rented from U-Haul on numerous occasions. I would not return to this location again and it's only 2 miles from my house, I will travel to a further location if I use U-Haul in the future.Desiree S.

The cup holder in the truck wasn't sufficient for holding a standard travel mug. My coffee cup tipped over several times and eventually fell out of the holder and spilled all over the floor.Barbara T.
Seriously, Tom went well above and beyond to help my trip a success. From the first call to allowing me to hug him goodbye, I will never forget the kindness he extended to me during a very stressful move. I must have called him 15 times and he was not only cheerful about my anxieties, but calming, helpful, and professional at every turn. The interior of the truck smelled terrible like smoke. After we picked it up we spent 4-5 hours wiping the inside of cab out and disinfecting the interior to get rid of the odor.Pamela G.

The truck and trucks functionality were good, though I don't know why the loading ramp was removed, that was an overall stupid idea. The U-haul employee that was supposed to handle my rental contract that day never showed up and the facility (Grand Rental Station) and subsequently left the employees there â€œholding the bag.â€ Then , I call your customer service number because of said U-hail employee not showing up. While this person was polite, the steps I was told I had to take after she changed my rental agreement to a 24/7 pick up (whatever that is) would have been a MAJOR inconvenience. Had it not been for the employees at the pick up facility going the extra mile and helping me out, I just would have left. Then upon attempting to return said truck your app wouldn't let me upload photos of the truck so that I could check it in. So again, I have to call customer service, talked to a helpful gentleman who at least got the truck listed as â€œreturned.â€ He also put in a request to waive the $20 fee for having a U-haul employee checking in the truck. It's a sham having paid what I paid considering all the crap I went through.David B.

We preregistered everything online, including submitting driver's license, however still had to redo everything at store. online stuff did not save any time. It just took more time for us to scan and upload photos etc. Not happy about that.Robert S.

While the truck and trailier where almost ready to go upon arrival, it took an hour to get the paper complete. The manager called ahead after isdues in kitittaning picking up an auto transport. The original location provided to pickup the truck didnt have it so we had to travel an additional 20 minutes out of the way, and the truck was supposed to be in Indiana PA. No truck review was done until i called out allot of scrathes and damages on the truck sides. Many unmarked after pointing them out. Some where marked, but many where left unmarked and was told it wasnt something to be concerned about. Nothing was reviewed, just sent to my email and we where so delayed we lost some of our helpers and needed to rush home.Travis M.

I arrived at my scheduled pickup time between 8-8:30 and was the only customer. It took 40 minutes of waiting to process my reservation. Thirty minutes after I left, I received a call to bring the keys back - they gave me the wrong truck. The associate who called me was not apologetic and overall, just rude. When I arrived, the correct truck was not ready and when I said that I was on a time restriction, I was rudely advised, "well I guess you'll just be late". They didn't go over the truck with me, or the contract at either time I arrived for truck pick up. Uhaul themselves, were wonderful. I called and spoke with Matt first, w ho credited my rental fee back and then later, when I returned the truck, called to speak with Isaac because I did the drop off and then responded to the text message, which needed pictures and such to complete return. Isaac had advised that if I was charged the $20 return fee to call back for refund, because the location didn't advise that completing the return online was a requirement of the new process. I had rented several times at that location, over the years, and would just drop off after hours and place key in the after hour drop box, with no further action required. Uhaul was wonderful, I will never rent from the North Apollo Grand Rental location again.sarah B.
I reserved a uhaul online. All I was supposed to do was go pick it up using my phone. I got there and had to wait inside for 1 hr because my guaranteed truck was not there. Uhaul said they would refund me 50 if my guaranteed truck wasn't there. Never happened. I am very upsetChelsea B.

There are at least 4 or 5 U-Haul locations in and around our town but we had to drive 35 minutes away to pick up the trailer. Once there the trailer couldn't accommodate our hitch and the dealer had no others. We had to find an auto parts store and buy a new hitch!pamela C.

It took the man 30 mins. to complete my rental when I went to pick up the truck. He was having some kind of issues not knowing what to do on the computer. I am a patient person, but that was just ridiculous. Then, the truck was absolutely filthy inside! I literally didn't even want to sit in it. It was covered in dirt and dust, cigarette ashes on the seats, the console was sticky. I was very disappointed, and I do not feel that when I am paying for a vehicle that it should come in that condition. Overall, it was a very poor experience.jackie A.

The trailer I rented had missing reflective tape in many areas and some of the lights on the trailer didn't work either. 1 of them even had cut wires hanging under the trailer. Instead of having things fixed they just put X stickers on them. Then they try to sell you the extra insurance for just in case someone hits you / HELLO / maybe if it had all the reflective tape and lights working no one would hit it !!! The equipment needs to have better inspection and maintenance procedures for when they are dropped off at a facility so they are in proper functioning order before the next person rents it. It raises the question that if lights and simple tape isn't being fixed how long has it been since the brakes and electric breakaway box have been checked or someone even checked to see if the lug-nuts were tight. I'm sure U-haul and its distributors are making enough money they can afford to put alittle back into their own company to keep the people safe who are renting their equipment and making them all their money in the first place.NATHAN W.

I had nothing but problems trying to rent this uhaul truck.I reserved this truck over a week from needing it to move.I had major problems when I went into rental budiness before we needed it.I had to go online several times to get another reservation.it wouldn't let us add the furiture pads we needed had to call back to customer service several times & it was 1 problem after another.it was a nightmare to rent this truck.I've never experienced anything like this before.I had to call in to customer service before leaving lot with the truck & the representative on the phone said she would text me the info to take a pic of my license & credit card.she never did.I called the following day & she claims she forgot.what a mess.I will never rent from uhaul because of this nightmare.Michele S.
