Mike CReserving equipment in advance online was easy and straightforward. Why I would not use Uhaul again or refer to a friend is, 2 days before pick up, our pick up location was changed. Then, the day before pick up, it was changed again, even farther away from where we lived or needed the equipment. After we picked up the equipment and had it half loaded, we recieved a call and we're told we had to drop it off 50 miles from where we selected. Staff that we communicated to about this was inconsiderate and not helpful. We ultimately were forced to take the equipment 30 miles from where we lived and were our storage unit was. The staff, Kat and Jules, that helped us the following day were very understanding and helped resolve the issue quickly. A recommendation - make it abundantly clear, from the beginning that Uhaul will change the pick up and drop off location at will regardless of customer needs. I would not have booked with Uhaul had I known this up front.

Alexander HHaul changed my pickup location. 8am pickup and nobody was there even though I had said on reservation I did not want to do it electronically. When the app used my camera, the camera would not focus on my license. Took many tries to get something usable. (Without the app the camera worked fine but there was no way to upload the pic). Very frustrating.

LEIGH KOwner was late when I arrived to pick up UHaul. I called UHaul and talked to the person who said I will get 50 credit. While I was waiting to be transferred to the scheduling department, the owner showed up. The equipment was clean, however, truck was old. No cruise control.
TOTIANA KThe UHAUL pickup system is terrible. My vehicle was given to me a 7/8ths of a tank despite being reported as a full tank to me. I couldn't upload any photos due to the glitchy system. Also, my reservation was moved 2 days before the pickup due to "overbooking", yet when I went to the original location they said that they had plenty of availability. This added twenty minutes to my already very long drive.

Tyrone BMost of the issues were with the uhaul app and website not working, but when I called uhaul they said the business should have been open and it was not. There were no posted hours and it was closed at a late morning pickup and an early afternoon drop off both weekdays. If the app had worked they probably wouldn't have been needed, but since it didn't either time, there was no one there to assist.
Harry CNot clear where to park. Closed early on weekday so couldn't get any direction. The app also wasn't working correctly so I wasn't sure after I checked it in, if it was checked in. All worked out in the end.

Richard BThis UHaul facility was extremely helpful in helping me remove the tie-downs on my scooter prior to taking the scooter down the ramp and off the truck. The staff stood by to help me maneuver the scooter in the right direction to exit down the ramp. I highly recommend this facility for UHaul services.

Timothy KI was overcharged from the agreement we had. The gas wasn't full, and I ended up getting charged for it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.

William RThe interior was still dirty, it wasn't noticed until after I had already sent out the ok. It also wasn't ready for mobile pickup despite me putting in a reservation weeks in advance and it put my plans an hour late. It was a mess to use the app on my phone to get the driver registered.

JUNE KLocation was closed. Ambiguity on the place to park and the process to drop off as it was meant to be with on the counter. The drop off shifted from person to mobile.

GEREMEW LLocation was great - very close to home. However, I found it difficult to realize that even though they were not open, I could still get the key. Further, I did not fully understand the directions to reach the key to the truck. Also, there was no dolly or pads that I had ordered when I made my reservation. Very disappointing!

Also, you had the truck out front, easy to find...so thank you so much! You even tried to give me extra time for free...wish it was applicable to my situation, but there it was none-the-less.
Rick OGetting the truck in the back lot was a little tight but doable. Wasn’t sure if I could’ve left it parked out front or not since the message said “park on the lot”.

Randall SOverall experience was terrible! The only thing that went well was picking up the U-Haul with Jerry from your MountLake Terrace Location. He was super helpful but the problems started immediately after pick up. I have to pick up I received a call from another U-Haul location stating that I have been picked up the U-Haul given the time I had given although I had just picked it up from a different location. Once I explain to the customer service rep about me picking up the U-Haul ready and she began to argue with me about the fact that I didn’t pick it up and that I needed to pick it up at the location in Everett Washington and as she began to recite the contract that I had with her it was completely wrong and as soon as I try to correct her she kept interrupting me and wouldn’t let me speak on my behalf but the contract that I signed and paid for. The customer service rep continued to interrupt me as I tried to explain to her my situation to the point where I had to flat out stay quiet until she finished and let me talk. After attempting again to state my problem she didn’t put me on hold and came back saying that she had corrected the error. Everything was fine again until we delivered the U-Haul on January 19 and they’re delivering it received confirmation of it and then a day later I was charge $112 without my notification from my bank account about over mileage usage. The usage that I had on the U-Haul had a mild allowance of 510 I’ll be returned it using only 484 miles of the 510 so being confused why I was being charged for the over mileage I called the customer service number for U-Haul one of the ladies on the car looked at the contract and she said that they ate we indeed went over and I took pictures of the mileage before picking it up and after dropping it off and let her know that and she apologize she she help me quite a bit but she said that she couldn’t really confirm the refund and she had to connect me with some regional manager. Once I connected with the regional manager and explain my situation they to kept in a Repton me and saying that the contract is the contract and it says that we want to give them 210 mileage allowance and I was being charged 112 for over the miles that allegedly went over I took pictures of the contract that I signed and paid for given the mail Laois and I gave them evidence to the differences in the mileage from picking it up and dropping it off which was 480 for well under the 510 mile allowance. At the back-and-forth and sending picture evidence to the regional manager they initiated my refund I was super happy about that but super disappointing that the money was taken out without my permission. However even after the refund has been initiated I asked for a email confirmation about the refund it’s been five days and I still haven’t received any email confirmation. The regional manager gave me his personal cell phone number to send pictures of evidence of my contract and how we didn’t go over the 510 miles and so I kept messaging them for the email confirmation with no response. No I’m still waiting for the email confirmation for the refund and I still haven’t been refunded my money and been extremely disappointed in the service in your heart and would not recommend based off of my experience with you all.
Jesus HSignificant fraud. Was charged an after hours service fee not told that this existed upon pickup. Was charged fraudulently for 5 gallons of gas even though I returned truck with the amount of gas I got it with. I only drove 26 miles (probably less). It appears that I'm being charged for the person who used the vehicle after me. I am filing a dispute with my credit card company

Mark MYour customer service online sucks. Too long waiting for someone to answer and when they did answer, they were not helpful If I did not need a truck for moving I would not used U-Haul. In the future I will look at other rentals
laurie cWe picked up on a Saturday morning. We had a difficult time with the website and getting the code to retrieve the key. The office wasn't opened for another hour or more, but the person that was there took the time to check us in even though the store was not opened yet. Excellent customer service! Thank you

Lynnette GTruck Share 24/7 delayed our pickup by over 2 hours due to “Technical Difficulties” on the app/website. 2 different phone calls to U-Haul totaling over an hour and 45 minutes, multiple transfers to different people who couldn’t help. Finally I got ahold of someone who could remote dispatch our truck. It was an absolute nightmare that delayed our 300 mile move by 3 hours total, resulting in hundreds of dollars in extra costs for me due to having to reschedule my moving help. I will never use Truck Share again, and probably won’t use U-Haul again.
