There was not always someone at the office, although a cell phone was given once you made a reservation at this location in person. However, the sign on the door gives the switchboard number to contact if there is no one available, and it did not seem as though messages were getting relayed to person at this location in a timely manner. I called twice and got the switchboard, who said they would notify the local office and have someone get back to me. However, that never happened. Therefore, I went to the Green Ridge location and the gentleman working said he never got the messages on his phone. But, when he looked on his computer, they were in his email. I would recommend the gentleman's cell number be put on the door, not the switchboard number.

Excellent service. Gene was there at 7:00 a.m., even though they don't officially open until 8:30. He had us on our way quickly. Could not have been a better rental pick up experience. Only problem was that the air conditioner stopped working when we crossed the Florida border.

Everything was absolutely wonderful, I needed to rent a uhaul for picking up our girl scout troops cookie order and Gene was just an absolute sweetheart the entire time! He even had the truck running and warming up when we got there!! Thank you so much for such wonderful service!! I really appreciated the fact that while they did not have regular Sunday hours, they did open because they had a couple drop offs and pick ups. Also, when the moving blankets were not in one of the returned vehicles, the rep went to another location and delivered them to me at our location from where we were moving.

The truck was clean and in great shape, the office was clean and welcoming and the person behind the counter was friendly, helpful and incredibly professional, even during the last weekend of a month in a college town during a time when other locations were out of trucks. I really cannot say enough about the positive experience here; it made moving day significantly easier and less stressful.

Tried to use the self check out and check in without success. U-Haul site would not let me enter my user name, so appreciative that Gene came in early to check us out, otherwise we would have had to wait for 90 minutes for the site to open. Have this site 5 stars since Gene went above and beyond to help us out! Great employee! U-Haul site would then not let us check the truck backin, would not establish the truck location despite my phone's location services being on. Would suggest U-Haul improve its website if they want people to use it.

First of all, this location was nearly impossible to see. The pathway to the UHaul location was squeezed in between businesses off a busy road and there was no sign on the street. I drove past it twice before I finally was able to go slow enough to see the orange lettering which I assumed was UHaul. The man at the store was very nice and friendly. That's the end of the good things I have to say. I backed up to a beat up old trailer. We did a walk around and we put about 15 X stickers on it from all the wear and tear. After he put the receiver tube on my hitch, he told me that the trailer would bounce around a bit until I put some weight in it. I understood this because I've driven with a trailer before. But, once I got on the road, I knew something was wrong. The trailer was very loud and any time the road was the least bit uneven (like pass over bridges back to regular pavement), the trailer bounced around like it was about to fly off the hitch completely. I pulled over and realized that the ball hitch wasn't tightened well enough therefore was too much space between the ball and the receiver tube. I tightened it down and it drove smoothly to my pick up location. I loaded up the trailer with some furniture, heaviest pieces in the front of the trailer. I then set out on my trip. I had a very long drive, Scranton, PA to Little Rock, AR. The trip was very smooth and the only noise I heard was just typical trailer noise. At every stop, I made sure the bolts on my hitch to the car were tight and the ball hitch to the receiver tube was tight. Everything went great until I hit Memphis, TN (about 2 hours from my destination). All the sudden, the crazy bouncing started up again. This time, it was accompanied by a dragging noise periodically that would also jerk my car back. I pulled over. I checked the bolts from the hitch to the car: tight. I checked to see if the hitch was bent: looks perfect. I checked the furniture in the trailer to make sure it was all still in place and tied down: everything looked great. I pulled up on the receiver tube at the ball hitch and it was loose again. I tightened it as tight as I could and pulled up again, still loose. I took the receiver tube completely off the ball hitch and then reseated it. It didn't seem to want to go down fully over the ball. When I watched the clamp inside the receiver tube tighten around the ball, it tightened at an angle. It would tighten enough that it wouldn't come off, but it didn't clamp around the slim part of the ball hitch, it tightened at an angle around the base. I will admit that I'm not 100% if that is how it was before because I didn't get on my back on the ground and watch it clamp around the ball. Mind you, this is also the same setup that has worked fine for my trip which is pushing 18 hours at this point. I was completely confused as to why all the sudden this was happening again.
