The truck was clean and Brian was helpful in going over contract info, but the braking mechanism failed and I was not able to stop and hit a pole to avoid injuries. It took 5 hours of being passed around to customer service reps to get it diagnosed, towed, and a replacement vehicle scheduled. Now I have three different invoices telling me what I still owe. I call customer service and get passed around to multiple reps again. All of this just to be told they were escalating the issue to their manager. It could take 72 hours to have an answer. Also the worker behind the counter at the L street location barely said two words while preparing my replacement equipment. What a nightmare! The claim adjuster at the insurance agency did not call me back same day after I left her a message. Then she calls back and I missed the call. She leaves a message saying she can be reached in the office for another few minutes today. She will be out of the office the following day.

The pick up was easy and drop off. The truck really didn't have a lot of gas and the interior of the truck wasn't all that clean. But it was a great experience beside that.

A U-Haul I reserved was given to someone else under my reservation and name because the person who works for U-Haul did not thoroughly check the right person in and that was very unprofessional. Chances are I will not rent again at this U-Haul location.

Gentleman who helped us was great- very helpful. Neighborhood not the easiest to navigate, location is gas station (small more independent) which was convenient to fuel up trailered car.

They put the truck out of service right after I showed them the leak. The guy apologized for my poor experience and refunded me for 1 of the 2 jugs of antifreeze I used, the 2nd one was out of the trunk of my car so I had no receipt.

Not charge people for fuel they did not use. I drove 19 miles and somehow used 7.4 gallons? That is 2.5 miles per gallon. If that were the case this truck could drive 100 miles on the 40 gallon tank before being completely empty. I do not plan on using Uhaul again.

On our last load the door went up, but we couldn't get it to close. It appeared to have become entangled on itself. Luckily we had bungee cords to hold stuff inside. Otherwise it was a great experience.

The cab light didn't immediately go off after locking the truck when turning it in. I didn't have a flashlight, but I re-opened the cab and tried to read some "fine print" that appeared to indicate that there was a delay before the light would go off. But I was worried that the battery might run down if the light never went off. It would be helpful if that feature about the cab light was verbally explained when picking up the truck. Other than that, it all went just fine.

Check equipment better before giving it to the customer. I was charged for not returning the dolly that was never in the truck to start. But I guess it's Uhaul's word against mine....Not happy

My pick up point was not what I chose. I understand it was those things are subject to change but it was rescheduled no where near where we were moving from. An inconvenience that could of been avoided if it was rescheduled to a closer location. That doesn't help with the mile restriction placed on the rental.

I reserved my truck at a location in South Bellevue. It was transferred to another location, where there was no truck for us to pick up. Then it was transferred to the location above, where I waited for 20-30 minutes before being able to leave with the truck. I do appreciate Brian helping us out with the reservation and with a discount since the final location was more than 20 miles out of our way from the original location.

If a customer reserves a truck at one location (like 87th and L), don't have your slack-jawed troglodite send them across town (to 35th and Q) because you don't know where the hell your own trucks are, or where the reservation was made by the customer!
