We were relocated to three different pick up locations. First, I’m told the truck I requested weeks prior is no longer available so I was told to pickup at Hernando Self Storage at 8:30 with the app pickup since they don’t open until 9. Not favorable, but doable. I get there and app isn’t working. Called customer service and the lady was ZERO HELP. We were moving into our home that day and had the movers waiting on us at our storage unit. This caused a massive delay and cost me MORE money since movers were just sitting and waiting on us. The rep was not helpful in the slightest. Tells us again, we have to go to a different location for pickup and then again, it’d be a self service pickup. Why couldn’t we do that in the first place at Heenando?! She offered nothing to remediate the situation and was very cold. At this point, I’m agitated and over it. I thought she muted us because she said she was transferring us to customer service (instead of listening in on my convo with my husband) and gets upset that I’m cursing (venting to my husband) and threatens to end the call. We just spent over 2,000 with UHaul on our move down here from OH. This is NOT the service we’d come to expect from such a reputable company. I will refer my friends and family elsewhere. Do better with your people UHaul.
