Corporate audit of facility where this particular vehicle is housed would be recommended. This property was unkept with knee high grass and trash in driveway and the vehicle is housed literally in a back alley within very congested confines of the city with two notable potholes that the truck has to transverse in and through the alley. This is causing undue wear and tear on this U-Haul vehicle. Vehicle was near empty and while I understand the refueling policy, with such low tank caused some angst and the low gas warning didn’t allow me to be able to read the odometer for proper check or for my records Vehicle had not been cleaned from prior use and operator stated her part time help must have shown up to handle.Very difficult to locate in very congested part of city. Individual operator was not on site and not readily available. Individual operator did not even log out the truck such that corporate called me 5 hours after picking up to ask why I had t picked up vehicle Corporate immediately took care of the situation. And also credited me back some gas which I very much appreciated. I returned the vehicle with more (and unused) gas than when I picked it up, with now damage and I completely cleaned the cab and rear box as required. While I acknowledge not using the UHaul app (I am used to going to a location for my rentals and at the time I did. It realize this operator was offsite and appears to do everything remotely ) this operator was polite when I spoke with them however they were not timely in their responses. I will only rent from UHaul Corp or a bona fide well established franchise operator in the future

The facility was fine, but the business is a church, not Gro Innovative, so it was a bit odd and confusing to determine where to go since the direction also took me to the alley, not the front. The woman that helped me was super friendly and helpful!
Eileen HLock box was difficult to open—had trouble obtaining key. Name of business is different than what’s listed on U-Haul website and no one was on site for assistance. Driving truck through the alley was not fun.
