The truck was chugging along but we made it. So thanks

We hit a great deal of road work on the way and the ride was quite rough, but on the return trip with a heavy load, it was pleasant. Not much you can do with stiff shocks when empty. Everything went well and we had no problems.
wilma DThe service was excellent!!
carolyn pWe had to drop the truck off , no one was there to verify we left the truck there. That worried me the truck was returned but I have no proof that I returned it . I didn't like that
Andrea CCindy Applegate and her employee, Zack were wonderful. They helped answer all question and had everything ready to go on Friday morning early.
Howard WThe guy who was the uhaul renter, went over few things with me, gave me the keys and then out the door I went to my destination.
Brandon JIve been charged twice. I paid up front and then again when i dropped it off, but for 30 dollars more than it was when i first rented the uhaul.
Shannon WVery nice and helpful!
RALPH GClean the truck, dirt and mud everywhere inside the box. the truck steering is really worn and really needs to be looked into because on a narrow road it was hard to maintain the lane. The box leaked during rain getting mattress wet. I felt like it was an older vehicle to still be in service .
Richard POnly issue I was the cell service was poor for my phone which made the 24/7 pick up challenging. But otherwise has friendly service from the dispatcher!
Evan TAs for the location, I would recommend the business at the location for the hardware they sell but as for Uhaul not the happiest of campers. Spoke on phone prior to arrival was expecting a 10' truck. Get there and they only have 15 and 20. So now I'm having to shell out $10 extra per day. Was asked how many miles would I need? I stated I did not know they said they'd give put 50. I stated I would need more than that, from my my house it's 35 just to the bridge. From their location it was at least 40 - 45 mile oneway. I did a return to location rental. I asked what was the cost per mile, never got that answer someone interupted us. Site search says .40 per mile for extra miles. Which I calculated should have been approx $70. I was charged .69 per mile to the tune of $115 +. Not happy. There rental is done over the phone with the staff person giving all credit card info outloud infront of other customers. Not cool. Their is no paper work to look at to see any and all charges that will be incurred and they are not stated either. My estimated bill was $131+ change for 2 day return to location rental. This was as described to me as $29.99 per day for rental, $14.99 per day for insurance. Plus tax and 50 contracted miles cause they never added any extra said they'd just add the extra upon return. They never stated there were environmental fees etc. And of course we were expected to leave the truck the way we got it full tank and swept out. Which we did. It rained the whole time we had it, and it was a muddy mess. We washed it. On the way back. Not spotly cause of road conditions but washed. So how we jumped from .40 per mile to .69 is beyond me. As stated before I had requested a 10' truck whick clearly stated on side of truck and rental ads. $19.95 per day. The ad never states only for return localtion rentals. Which needs to be fix it's click bait advertising or false advertising. Would I recommend Uhaul to friend not bloody likely unless it's an emergency. Too many hidden things. I do not like not having paper contract or receipt to review before signing. Especially given our remote location with little to no internet access. My receipt never showed up in my inbox until I was an hour away with the truck. Had I been pulled over for any reason I had nothing to prove I had a rental agreement and insurance. When you have remote locations that are 30 miles from the the nearest cities, and don't take into consideration that customer are not able to even leave the location without using all allocated milage and than charging extra for exceeding that amount is flat wrong. Especially when stated by customer mileage was to low. The dear valued customer statement for this review is a joke it should read dear valued sucker. I was expecting a bill of $150-175 not over $200. That extra might not seem much to you, but on my salary that a bite and a half.
Carroll EThey need to have what you reserve.
Vickki ELower the mileage prices - definitely thought it was a little too pricey for a small box truck with hardly any room.
Corey HWhen we picked it up their was a less than a quarter tank of gas in it we put 15$ in it and took our trip and brought it back with more gas than when we left with it . Great people and good place to rent a U-haul from
kayla lVery friendly. Made the rental experience very smooth
William JThe rental of the truck was flawless. But the store was amazing. It is a old time hardware store. If they don’t have it, you don’t need it.
Jeffery II think it’s ridiculous that renting a uhaul for 3 hours cost $80. Probably never do it again. Also I have an extra $22 charge that I’m checking on today to see what the hell its for. I’m not at all happy about that.
kevin eNot send us all over God's green Earth to find the trailer we reserved weeks in advance at a close location only to drive to the next nearby city, who didn't have one either then another 35 minutes to actually get one. The person at this store also told us we could drop the trailer off to our local u-haul business only to be sent an email stating we owed over a hundred dollars in charges because we didn't drive it 35 minutes back to its original home. Thankfully the last guy I talked to handled the situation. The first person in customer service told me "there's nothing he can do about it" and to "order it a year in advance if you don't want to deal with it". First time we've been charged for not taking it back. We've always returned it to our local place. This isn't the first time we've had to drive all over looking for one because they say they will have it ready but don't. Considering buying one to not have to deal with it.
