Explained the issue with the auto transporter to the customer service agent and he said nothing. Also had put gas in the vehicle to 3/8 like we got it and he made us put $20 more or he was going to charge us $40.

Great experience overall, but with 2 issues: -Box had not been swept out and had quite a bit of dirt and grass. It swept out easily, although I shouldn't have had too. - Fuel was not completely full at time of pick up, it was "almost full". I put in 6 gallons to full for the 12 miles I drove it.

william tFirst of all the number listed for this location does not answer the phone. I called several times and there was no voicemail to leave a message. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a uhaul location. I didn’t feel safe it was in a sketchy part of down. There were homeless people sitting around the building drinking. This mini grocery store was dirty, unorganized the staff onsite had no clue how to handle my reservation. She actually asked me to come behind the counter and fill it out while she attended to other customers. I had no idea what I was doing. The manager eventually drove to the site and he was able to finish the transaction however he got the drop off location down wrong on the reservation. I asked for a paper copy of the receipt but he said the printer is not working. When it was time to attach the trailer to my car no one at the store had ever done that before. But the manager and I figured it out. I was driving from Florida to Minnesota and he had the drop off on the reservation as the next day back at his location. I didn’t notice this error until we hit the road several states past Florida. I vowed to myself that going forward I will always pick up or drop off my uhaul from a reputable U-Haul location. Never again will I pick up at one of these side gig UHaul locations.
