my recent experience returning a vehicle to this U-Haul location. When I arrived to return the vehicle, I discovered there was no key drop box available. I didn’t feel comfortable leaving the vehicle unlocked with the key inside, so I returned the vehicle and kept the key with the intention of returning it at my earliest availability. Unfortunately, due to my work schedule aligning with the store's hours, it was very difficult to find a time to return the key without taking time off work — which I ultimately had to do. After returning the key, the same gentleman who initially helped me inspected the vehicle and confirmed everything was in order. However, shortly after, I received a phone call stating that I owed an additional $370 for using the vehicle for a total of 48 hours — on top of the $111 I had already agreed to and paid. When I asked for clarification, the representative insisted I owed the balance but was unable to clearly explain the reason for the charge. I’m still confused and frustrated, and this issue remains unresolved. I was quoted $111 at the time of rental, and that was the amount I agreed to. At this point, I’ve initiated a dispute regarding the unexpected charge. While I understand that miscommunications can happen, the lack of clear information and the added difficulty in returning the key made this a negative experience overall. I would have a hard time recommending this location to others unless this issue is resolved in a reasonable and fair manner. Should we reach a satisfactory resolution, I would be open to reconsidering my stance.

GHULAM MThe guy is terrible on customer service and was taking so long when I kept telling him I gotta go back to my business at work but instead of figuring out how to expedite the situation and just call customer care to fix the order and have me keep calling care when they kept saying it’s fixed with return location it took him 3 mins to do it himself finally after 35 mins. And the whole time he’s on his personal phone handling non U-Haul related situation which is in professional and this location should close down and remove him as a third party.
