The location staff were very friendly and welcoming. I want to give an extra special thank you to Nicky (maybe Nikki) in the Halifax area who assisted me on Saturday April 4 when I encountered some weather related issues. She was incredible and compassionate over the phone, treated me like an actual human being, which is so very rare in any over the phone service these days. She quickly helped me resolve my issues with a smile I could feel over the phone. She deserves an award! (It made me think that your management must be good too, because it gets reflected all the way down the line when your employees are happy.) If I knew how and where to send her a thank you card, I would do so. The person I called in St. John's at the UHaul location here was also helpful and understanding. Again, they treated me as well over the phone as if I was in person. I was astonished at this level of customer appreciation and understanding. Whoever is doing your hiring is doing a great job in choosing these great folks for your team too. Thanks

Was great to have in person experience vs non contact and no one to offer assistance

The vehicle did not have a track to pull out for easy loading nor did it have a lower lift on the back. Loading items required climbing up and lifting items into the truck. I requested and was charged for furniture pads but did not receive them and was charged even though I told the clerk several times they were not provided . The truck was in miles for the odometer and the larger more visible font on the speedometer making it slightly more difficult to gage speed. It felt like a very expensive rental for the type of vehicle provided.
