Drop off was contactless. It was my first time returning a truck this way. Getting the app to watch the video involved a learning curve taking my own photos, but overall it was quick and easy.

The dealers directions for the key location was wrong, they did not answer their phones. And then public storage customer service had us on hold on the phone for at least 35 minutes to HANG UP in our face. The chat customer service rep would not give me what I wanted the most which was to cancel the transaction and refund because I no longer had trust in either party ( Hall of Farmers Construction or U-Haul) because my money was immediately taken out of my account before keys were in my possession. This is not my first time renting a U-Haul but this experience has by far been the most difficult, frustrating and overall upsetting time I have ever had. Upon returning the truck— the app crashed and I wasn’t allowed to take pictures to upload of the condition of the returned truck. However I still took pictures on my own device because again of the lack of trust.

I had a bad experience with the truck and this company. The people wasn’t there in the office (NEVER !!!) This experience was just terrible!!! The truck was dirty!! There was no gas in the truck!! And to say I was overcharged is an understatement!!

I drove 9 miles and they charge me $55 for fuel, and they aren’t responding to my complaint. How can I use $55 if you’re only going 9 miles?

I rated as poor because I was informed about changing pick up location the day before. I reserved different pick up location which is located 1 mile from my house. However, I had to drive more than 8 miles to pick up the truck. One of representatives called me and informed me about changing location without any further solution. I had to extra Uber pay for picking up Uhual truck. It was truly unsatisfying experience. However, the guy at the pick up location in lakewood was very kind and nice.

No one there to check me out and no locked area To trailer behind with no locking mechanism for trailer? Though I was able drop as explained early, did not like leaving in open parking lot at this location.

Just this team were extremely helpful. During whole process of which I was unsure of as normally hire folks to move for me, had to do it myself but hey gave me all tools, answered all my questions and online process just rounded out a great process. We definely hire again at this Lakewoid location and Brooke jus super help
