Van was clean and well kept. Pick up/drop-off process was very easy and staff offered to stay a little past closing for me to pick up the van, which was super helpful. My only complaint would be that they are hard to get in touch with by phone. Often times went straight to voicemail, but I never got a call back, so ended up calling over and over until I reached a person. Once I was actually able to talk to someone he was very accommodating.Julia A.
The front desk personnel is rude, lazy and irresponsible. They charges me for 2 day although I hold the car for 4.5 hours only. Opened case, and nobody wants to help me, they just pass me form one to another, and they don't care about business reputation at all, will never go this place again, and make sure everybody knows it!Gagik P.

The manager was beyond rude. After taking my credit card information he insisted that he needed to speak directly with my emergency contact. When I explained that my husband who was my contact was an attorney in court that day and without a phone he wasn't going to rent to me unless he could speak with someone. I provided another individual who he called and told them they would be responsible for thousands of dollars worth of charges if anything happened to the van. I have never heard of anyone doing this to a customer previously and I have rented from UHaul for years. I will never again. His employee apologized for the manager's boorish behavior when I returned the van and explained that he was an asshole. I believe the manager's name was Jessie and he should not be the one dealing with customers.mindy G.
when reviving the vechile it wasn't clean ( dirty ion the outside , driveside had a mess ) , customer service was good , little issue with the mileage ( got corrected ) , also wish I had more tome with the vechile .Anthony M.

the truck i reserved was already reserved for someone else, i end up having to take a much smaller truck, and instead of one trip i had to take two trips which cost me double of the milage. this is not acceptablewun C.

My brother was at store to take care of renting truck before the store closed. Gave credit card info. over phone. Man at store didn't write it down, so my brother called me back to give it to the man again. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. I told my brother I was driving through heavy traffic so I will rush to store to do transaction in person, My brother called my again to say to hurry because the man told him he is closing. This was at 3:40pm, the store closes at 4pm. I'm never renting from this location again.Marty P.

Cab of Truck was dirty, cigarette butts were left in the ash tray. the inside door had some sort of bubble gum stain on the handle, someone spilled coffee or soda on the back wall and it was never cleaned up. The smell from all this was a clear indication that the truck had not been cleaned in a long time.Santiago C.

Young man who helped was great nice clean location, but the van I rented had such a dirty windshield that I had to stop at a gas station to clean it, and I was not able to locate the Hazard button on this vans dashboard. Other than that I had a good experience.hector S.

Improve dispatch. I made my reservation on Monday. When the reservation was made, dispatch did not say a word about a different location. On Saturday afternoon at approximately 3:00 PM, I get a call from Handy Self Storage asking if I could pick up my van early because they were going to close at 4:00. I agreed. A few minutes later I get another call from Handy Self Storage asking me if I knew i was going to get my van from 1500 Washington blvd., rather than East L.A.. I told him I did not know, because the dispatcher did not say anything. Except for a dirtier than usual inside of the Van, all other aspects of the rental went smooth.Donald J.
I picked up my rental with no problems, it was quick and easy. I started the truck and noticed a low tire signal on the dash i asked the man if it was ok. He said it was fine and that it was ready to go. By the time i got back to the location I had a flat on the tire.I waited about an hr for service to come which was not a problem because i had to unload the truck. When Roadside assistance showed up he told me all four tires had leaks. Its obvious this truck wasnt safe to drive.Victoria S.

UHAUL made changes to my original time and pick up location and didn't inform me. I had to drive to the new location and waited for the person putting together the contract to receive step by step instructions over the phone. Truck was not as clean as it should've been. Looked like someone with pets had been in it. Starting fuel level was lower than stated in contract. I have rented from Uhaul in the past, and always had ok experiences. I expected better communication since it was a long distance trip that cost quite a bit of money.ANA J.
I rented the uhaul for 24 hours after discussing with the dispatcher whether or not to pay by mile or day. They failed to mention that I was still paying by mile and received a huge bill after on top of paying for the day. On top of that, I drove around the city looking for a place to drop off the uhaul because the location they gave me had no idea what I was talking to. Very poor service and I will never use uhaul again.ASHLEY P.

I was over charged my mileage. I took a picture of the miles before I drove off the lot so I can estimate how much the total would be, and I took a picture once I parked it. when I looked at my transaction and noticed it did not match up to my calculation I re-read my paper work and noticed that miles out did not match. I call U-Haul they told me to contact the rental location. I contacted the rental location they referred me back to U-Haul. I gave up but they lost a customer. I don't own a truck of my own, I'm doing a lot of renovations and I often need a truck, but I will NEVER do business with U-Haul again!!!monique V.

Arrived at office at 4 PM on 1500 washington clerk give me a hard time saying that the office is closed and have a return scheduled for following day not on same day. Finally he accepted truck only after I told him I don't have a place to park truck overnight. Also I was charged insurance for 2 days when in fact I had truck from 8 AM to 4 PM on MON 09/30/2013. I always used u-haul on previous moves and everything was very smooth, this experience was like a nightmare!RAMON C.

The dispatch location was fine but their inability to properly inspect the vehicle for mechanical issues that then surfaced during our long drive was a little concerning. This is not the fault of the dispatch location but rather perhaps a concern that the whole UHaul system needs to look out for. We had an inner tire blow out due to what the service tech found to be a leaking air hose that depleted the inner tire of proper pressure. In addition to this, the unit have brake issues and a burning smell of clutch that made it a hairy ride.Edward Y.

Perhaps more flat beds for customer use. On a positive note: "Barbara" is an OUTSTANDING employee. She was friendly, professional, informative, helpful & knowledgeable! I will DEFINITELY recommend this location. In fact, I even rented a storage unit!ROANNA M.
