I didn't like the policy of needing references in order to rent to me . No way around it . I don't like needing or using references for me to get anything . I try to be a very upstanding person. and it made me feel like a criminal. I am not.DARRELL H.

Had the absolute WORST experience renting from you guys. We rented a truck and appliance dolly and I hired movers. When we arrived, the dolly that we ordered wasnt there. I had to drive an additional 25 miles to pick up dolly, all the while paying hourly for my movers, paying for gas and paying per mile. To top things off it caused me to miss my flight. This service is laughable and I plan to be very vocal about that.Stephan P.

I was sent to this location even though it was a significant distance from my â€œpreferredâ€ location. Contactless checkin didn't work and then they didn't have the blankets that I reserved so I had to go to another Uhaul location (Santa Monica, Lincoln Ave) to get those. After I asked if there is anything different that I need to do when I drop off my equipment and being assured that there would be no issues, that location then proceeded to set up my blanket reservation with the wrong drop off location and it took me an extra 30 minutes to drop off my equipment. This experience has caused me to strongly recommend avoiding Uhaul at all costs to all of my contacts.Thomas A.

Van was extremely dirty, it was almost dangerous to drive due to the windows and mirrors being so dirty. You walk in the store and it seems like everyone hates their job, they will walk right past you and act like you don't exist. Once you get their attention they act like they are doing you a favor and you are on their watch even though you manage to use the alternative self-service online option to save everyone the headache and limit your exposure. I don't understand how they've stayed in business running the place the way they do. Although, I understand the store is not owned by U-Haul their horrible customer service is not a good look for U-Haul.Jessica S.
The customer service was horrible. Refused to give me a U-HAUL until a customer service representative made the guy give it to me. Upon return Tried to con me about damage. The employees at the Hane Hardware Location on Florence were extremely helpful. They were able to quickly check me in and check me out.Joseph F.
Make sure that the truck is clean and smells fresh. The person that checked me out noticed the papers and dust in the back of the cab; however, when I returned the vehicle I was made to sweep the back of the cab because the same dust was in the back of the cab or be charged a clean up fee. The attendant was very rude and disrespectful and said to me next time take a picture. He then began to inspect the vehicle from top to bottom looking for something that wasn't there. I rent from U-Haul every two weeks to pick up food to feed people. I had the truck for about 2 hours and only drove 20 miles. I WILL NEVER RETURN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN! Clean and sanitize the inside of the truck!! Also just add the insurance to the price and don't advertise $19.99. I drove just about 40 miles and put $8 of gas and still paid $75. I only used it for 2 hours. And parked it for 5 hours because I paid for the day!! Prices SUCK!!Jose A.

With covid-19, trucks should be thoroughly cleaned regularly inside and out. I thought ,l my lease was a little pricey regarding miles. The service was quick and unclear when returning vehicle. Thank youKEVIN S.
Truck was super dirty, looks like it hasnt been cleaned or washed in weeks. Very disgusting. Back of the truck still had so much dirt it got all my furniture dirty. Im very mad and disappointed. Neee more space to drop off trucks. We had family emergency and needed to drop truck off quickly. There was very little space So parked behind another uhaul already there. Gate was locked. This is a huge problem. Want to be compliant with uhaul and this made it difficult late at night. Also was charged far more than I was quoted. Over 300.00 when I was quoted 141.00.TYLER B.

The rental site was the shared parking lot of a hardware store. If the hardware store closes earlier than the drop off time for vehicles rented from that lot, then the gate into the parking lot should have an attendant if it is to be closed. When I returned to drop off the vehicle, there was no visible attendant and the gate was closed.Thien N.

I was informed at the last minute that I had to drive an hour and a 1/2 out of my way to pick up this rental Because it was not located at the original reservation store.No accommodations were offered to relocate it for me. Very disappointedJohn R.
Used a truck to pull a trailer I never used the inside back of the truck was charged a $25 cleaning fee. I tried explaining this to the person on the phone and they were be smug about it had to call you services to get a refund I have rented from uhual close to 100 times and i will Never use this location againramond C.

The customer service that I received from the U-Haul locations from my cross country move was a horrendous experience! The feeling like no one knew what was going on at all times to were we had to call the u-haul corporate number to get things resolved over and over was pure exhaustion and the reason people pay for the service is to make things less stressful. Then the dealer that I went to at 508 e Florence in Los Angeles was the worst the lady took pictures of not only my identification which I could understand but of my credit card and then proceeds to take a picture of me. That is a complete violation of my rights and I am not ok with that and will consult a lawyer about that action that was taken. My only resolution for this problem is to refund me for my trip cost here for the type of service that I received the entire time and train corporate retail and dealers a way to love what they do because if they don't they should not have a contract or find another place to work. I'll end this with I will consult a lawyer if the resolution team can't do anything because taking a picture of my credit card and of me cross the line by far!Rayal T.
