Cust ser rep was the rudest person i have talked to in a long time. Very deaming and complained i had dropped the trl in the wrong location. Wanted me to come and move it. I tried to explain my 50 ft m h was to big to maneuver around her lot. She said several times this is not the way we do things down here. This despite she had numerous trucks and vans with hitches that could. Have moved it. I apologized several times but she just kept talking over me. I reserved a 15 foot truck and car dolly 3 weeks in advance. Key word here is RESERVE. That to me means you are guarantee a truck. A lot depends on getting a truck. Hotel reservations were made. People hired to help you move and most of all people moving in the next day. So you can imagine my disbelief and when I reveived a phone call the day before that they didnt have a truck for me and oh well too bad for us. ABSOLUTELY no concern for me being upset and employee quickly got rude with my husband telling him he was the one being rude and hung up on him. He then went to the location very upset. She then had more unnecessary words and kicked him out. But when threatened with calling corporate 1 0 mins later she suddenly found a truck. Come to find out there were plenty of trucks in that area that were available. It made for a VERY stressful morning. So I truly dont know what that stunt was all about. Not sure if I would ever chance reserving from U Haul again.Donna P.
Parking lot is totally unacceptable. I am not a cdl driver. I was forced to back a 20ft truck with 12 foot trailer into a completely unsafe area with no experience. No uhaul staff their to assist. The trailer we rented wasn't the best choice for putting a Prius on. The front fender got scratched and bent, we had to put a wedge behind the front wheels when taking it off the trailer to raise the front end so as to not do further damage to my Mothers new car. This is the first time we have rented a U-Haul truck and the staff at Hardy's were very knowledgeable and helpful. They thoroughly explained everything and were very nice. As our belongings were moved into storage units, we will need to rent another truck once we close on our new home, and we plan on coming back to Hardy's to do so.William P.

The first truck they tried to rent me had a check engine light on and a tire pressure sensor problem. The truck I ended up with had significantly more body damage than was indicated on the paperwork Also it took about 45 minutes to get the vehicle even though I completed everything in advance. And lastly the time indicated in my contract was 3pm but i didn't even get the vehicle until 4 pm. What a hasslePhillip A.
I was over charged and was promised a price adjustment and never received it. The vehicle was not full when I picked it up and I had to through out the trash that was left in it from the previous user. I call in about the refund and was denied by the accounting office. I completed as much paperwork as the system would allow prior to going to pick up the trailer as my time frame was limited. Unfortunately my efforts to have everything in the system was a waste! I arrived hoping to pick up the trailer in 10 to 15 minutes. It took 50 minutes because license had to be photographed and entered and the system took an enormous amount of time to receive. The person WAITING FOR ME did not wait! I had to make another appointment to pick up items 6 hours later. Why not streamline your U-Haul system to make receiving a trailer or vehicle easier?Ron V.
