Customer service wasn't all that good. My equipment was not there and the process was horrible and not well thought out. When you are trying to use cell phone pickup/drop off.

Take better care of the people running your rental spots. The old man there was extremely nice and helpful, and he needs to be compensated better based on appearance of the building. The man there saved the day for us, because your Tuscaloosa location is horrendous with their competence. I reserved a truck 18 days in advance, and the night before at 7:15, 15 minutes after hours, they called to tell me they didn’t have my truck, yet when I went up there they had 4 of the same truck, and 2 were out of town eligible evidenced by the “Unrestricted” inside the shop. Also, months ago, my brother reserved a truck from you guys 2 weeks in advance only for the same thing to happen to him in Tuscaloosa. I absolutely do not recommend any Tuscaloosa U-Haul ever, at any point, at all. They are terrible and this has happened numerous times and I have receipts. If you are in Tuscaloosa, use Penske, Mentro or even Two Men and a Truck.

Clark NI have now returned two rentals to this location in the past 6 months, and unsuccessfully tried renting a trailer from this location on two different occasions. Both times, no one was there during their SUPPOSED BUSINESS Hours, and absolutely NO ONE ever answers the phone

gary mThe location, to be frank, is a dump. It appears as if the "Stop and Shop" has been closed for ages. No one was present to help me with the checkout. The location suffers from very poor phone reception for the mobile app. In fact, I couldn't get the mobile app to work at all because of the very poor reception. We had to call U-Haul and stay on the phone to complete the checkout.

michael cHave an actual person on site to help. The rate I was given when I did my order online was not what I was charged in the end. I wound uu being overcharged by $400 and it seems there is no actual person for me to speak with to resolve my dispute.

Kenneth kThe drop-off the trailer was fast and efficient. No problems were encountered during my use of the trailer, so all things good. The drop-off location is located in a small town so they lack many of the amenities of a location one would find in a major city. However, they make up for it in being friendly and very helpful.
CORIGAN SMy daughter broke down 350 miles from home. I needed a tow dolly to get her home. Owner, I believe his name was Hardy, was very helpful and got me set up. Other uhaul location was over 20 miles away. His location was very convenient.

I ordered small truck from Northport AL two months ahead of time but they sent me 38 miles away in bad weather to pick up larger truck than I wanted or needed.Then Pick up location had wrong information on sheet. Wrong truck number/ wrong mileage ect. Took over an hour for “express” prepaid pickup. Wasted over one and a half hours of my packing time. Also had only one hand cart when I ordered and needed two. I blame Northport for my inconvenience. If they had fulfilled their obligations I would not have had to stayed overnight and pay for hotel room. Added expense ?? Luckily Tampa drop off location fixed errors made by pick up location.

REBECCA RWhen someone makes a reservation a week in advance, do not change the location the day before the pickup. If my preferred pickup location can't be accommodated, let me know with as much advanced warming as possible and work with ME on possible alternative locations. Don't just assign me a new location and have me "deal" with making any changes. I made the reservation for a reason. You guys changed both the pickup location and time on me. Not cool!
Bret SI had a very good experience. Of all the U-haul rentals I've done, this has been the most straight-forward and hassle-free. At this location you won't find the array of equipment that you'll find at bigger locations, but you will find the nicest people to deal with.
CORIGAN SThe customer service at Hardy's was phenomenal, despite it being an unkempt and overgrown building. The biggest issue was that I had to drive approx. 1:30 min from Columbus MS to Eutaw AL in order to pick up the trailer. I received the phone call telling me that my requested location was unavailable at 9am on Saturday morning, the date of my pick-up, and when I informed customer service that it would be over an hour drive both ways, the representative very disrespectfully told me "there's no way it will take that long". I understand that the location is not guaranteed, and I did receive the fifty dollar compensation, but 70 miles out of the way is excessive and unacceptable, and the attitude of the representative who called me and her lack of an apology for the inconvenience was appalling. I was lucky that my situation allowed me to take 3+ hrs out of my day to make the pick up, but it was unwarranted stress. To make matters worse, when the trailer lights were hooked up to my vehicle, my engine would not accelerate. The hitch receiver and wiring had been installed at another Uhaul location by an "expert" and they messed up the wiring job. I was stuck an hour an a half from home, in the middle of nowhere Alabama, faced with a choice of driving at 15 MPH the entire way or proceeding illegally without brake or signal lights. I am active duty military and had an arrival date to Oklahoma that was not flexible. My husband, also active duty military, was on orders at a different location. In the two days before I had to depart Mississippi, I had to take my vehicle to multiple locations to find someone who could undo what Uhaul did to my wiring. I was charged $156.22 for the fix, but the hours I spent trying to get this remedied are irreplaceable. Please contact me at Kimbergo14@gmail.com.

Ruth HEverything was just fine. I was gonna get the12x6 trailer. But there were none at this location. The 5x8 was better for me being a first-time puller. But I could of used the extra room. Could not fit all I had to bring. Well that will be another trip. But all was a good experience for me. Had no problems.

Brock JVery unhelpful. Seemed like he didn't care about anything I asked or even at all. I asked him how much it would cost us and he told me a price. I asked about the mileage and he told me "it doesn't matter, you got a couple days to return it in Crestview." I also asked where to return the truck and he provided no addresses on the paperwork and told us to turn it in anywhere in that town. Of course, the first place on Google did not even exist. We used to rent from UHaul often for our business but I remember now why we stopped using you.
drew wThe only reason they got an average rather than excellent is not their fault. UHaul told me I could pick it up at 8 a.m. when they opened and they do not open till 9 a.m. So, an hour was wasted that could have been spent packing, etc. The Hardys were great! Very accomodating and quite friends. Great people!
JULIANA FUhaul management need to take a moment to review not only these locations, but the location in Tuscaloosa, AL on Skyland Blvd. In fact, management should review this entire contract, including phone call transcripts, customer service reps, and store personnel. WE WILL NEVER USE UHAUL AGAIN, EVER!!!!!
JENNIFER Rwe had gone to uhaul in Tuscaloosa,Al the weekend before we needed the truck and got a confirmation but then on Friday before Sat the day to pick up,we received a call that the truck would not be available. I called the 800 number & they finally found one in Eutaw,Al this caused us a lot of distress since we thought all was worked out. hopefully another customer can benefit from this screw up!!
