The location I was supposed to pick the unit up at, when I got there they did not have one. They didn't help in finding one. The location that I did use is over 30 minutes one way, out of the way for me. Not at all convenient!! Not happy with the service this time around, I have used U haul in the past without issues, not this time.David D.

This was not the location I requested and in fact was 20+ minutes and more than 10 miles from the location I requested. I had to pay extra mileage when it was UHaul that requested a different location. This is totally unacceptable.Heidi H.

No cellular roaming service, took over an hour to get code on my phone to open the lock box for the keys to the truck! Supposed to pick up truck at 8:00a.m., didn't leave until after 9:15a.m.!!! No one willing to help, although the owner of the site had a home 25 feet away!!! Awful! Will NEVER use this place again!!!Andrew H.

Mr. Harrington was very nice person. We called him before we dropped off the trailer to ask him if he can wait for us. He explained to us why he could not wait but gave us a detailed instruction on how to take the trailer off the hatch. I called him in the morning of Saturday to check on the trailer because we dropped it after hours on Friday. He was very nice to me and said he took care of everything fifteen minutes ago. The way he spoke to me was very respectful. Just like his attitude. Very caring and professional.Karley K.

We had to use the phone app because facility was closed. App was TERRIBLY slow and did not function well. Apparently, WiFi access at that location is VERY poor so this may have contributed to the issue. App needs to be revised to function smooth and quickly. It took us at LEAST 49 minutes in the parking lot just to navigate through the app.Tracy W.
Doug Harrington is not only a very friendly fellow, but as a business owner he exceeded expectations with his willingness to guarantee equipment all at one location for customer ease and convenience. Doug is an excellent representative of the Uhaul brand due to his careful instruction, patient attitude, and overall experience with the equipment he rents. A place called Cjs in btown didn't stage my truck like it was supposed to be staged and I spent 3 hrs trying to get a truck beginning at 530 in the morning. Luckily, a nice woman at uhaul support found me a truck at Harrington's and everything went very smoothly.Aaron L.

I would however I am very disappointed with U-Haul in general, they are not a location garentee like they advertise I was originally reserved for a truck 10 miles from my home but because the person reserving it made a mistake and didn't put in the computer I was doing the 24/7 online pick up when I got to my destination to pick up I was there 30-45 min on the phone with U-Haul trying to figure out why my check in was working and I couldn't get the key to the truck that was sitting right infront of me it was then discovered that it wasn't put in the computer right u the U-Haul person so they had to send me to a different location where I ended up paying for 70 miles total to drive it which 47 of this miles were to pick it up and then take it back to original location because I wasn't allowed to drop it at any U-Haul location like I was told. What would have costed me 50-70ended up costing me 140 because uhaul made a mistake and I literally had to pay for itDecember H.

The location of my pickup was changed from Southside Rental on S Walnut St in Bloomington to this location on State Road without notice. I scheduled my pick up for 3:30pm on Friday and was called by the new location asking if I could come early because he had a commitment at that time. I agreed, since i was available earlier, and he assured me this would not change my drop-off time since I was doing him a favor (this ended up not being true and I had to drop my truck off earlier than I had planned because of making this accommodation to the location owner). The location is a converted garage of the man's home and there was an overwhelming odor within the garage. There were many containers of food and unrefrigerated condiments in site. I purchased furniture pads for my move and unfortunately they smelled the same, like mold and sweat. They wre unusable and I spent many hours on the phone with U-Haul later that night. Additioanlly, the contract said the tank was 7/8 full but when I started the truck it was below 1/2 tank. When I addressed this with the rental agent, he said it was 7/8 full and it only appeared less because the truck was parked downhill. He told me it would even out when I started driving and he didn't need to change the contract (this was untrue). Luckily I took video and photos of my pick up mileage and fuel gauge, so by calling UHaul that day they were able to help me with that. That is a significant difference in fuel and would be a significant cost to me. It was ridiculous the way the agent dismissed me. He did not do a walk through of the vehicle with me and was largely unhelpful. I would not only not recommend this place to a friend but would adamantly discourage anyone from using this location. When moving is already stressful, using this location made my experience exponentially more stressful, not even considering the cleanliness concerns which are extreme.Jaclyn S.

Worst location ever. Impossible to turn around a 20' truck with car dolly. Had to drive to next town to turn around. Not clearly marked. Poor pathetic lighting. Creepy residence at location. Signage affixed to nasty run down abandoned gas station. I seriously can't believe this company willfully contract a location like this then requires paying customers to find it and figure it out. I will NEVER rent from Uhaul again.matt M.

The gentleman at the location was very nice and I could tell that they have been organizing and trying to straighten the place up. However, the horrible stench in the office needs to be addressed. I read the previous comments from customers and I can see or in this case small what they were complaining about. However like I said attempts have been made. The dog was still in the office and the dog is very friendly but the concrete is soaked with urine and the smell is almost unbearable. Like I said, the guy is really nice but they do need to steam clean the slab to remove the horrible stench. If my wife had to be the one to pickup the trailer she would have just left and would not have been able to handle it. I was barely able to and I couldn't get the smell out of my clothes for almost an hour.MARIO N.
The office area smelled awful and unhygienic. The owner kept a dog inside that had pooped many times on the carpet. There was at least one living mouse in there too. There were mouse droppings on the manager's desk. It was so bad that another customer had to walk out. They also failed to provide me with the furniture dolly that I reserved.Benjamin B.

Please fo to this location and get to the office , it's so disgusting and smell so nasty. The person who work their throwing the trash everywhere inside the office and dogs poops everywhere on the floor, the mice are living with him inside the office. I ask you to go there and see the cleanness by yourself because he is gonna hurt the Uhaul repetition. You can't even stay 1 minute inside the office because it's nasty.
